The day of the big event for first-year students has arrived.
Some first-year students were nervous. Some were excited. Some were quiet. A mixed of emotions filled the entire gymnasium where we all gathered five days ago.
Despite the crowds blocking the way, they somehow managed to create a path for me to walk into. As I walked amidst the crowds of students that were anticipating the big event, as a joke, I exuded an imitation of Cosmic Fear to which the first-year students stopped their conversation, and their body was still as a stone. Then I let the Cosmic Fear go, making them finally breath even though it lasted for a second.
"Show off." A female student with orange hair and blue eyes said as she saw what happened. "You think you're cool or what?"
"What are you talking about? I didn't do anything." I said, trying to calm myself from the inside because there was no point of fighting against her. I am not representing myself. I am representing the Luminosity family.
"Whatever, loser." She just said and walked away.
"Someone woke up in the wrong side of the bed." I said.
"Arthur? Is that you?" Watson asked from behind. "Oh my gosh! It's only been five days, yet you look..." She trailed off her words, her eyes scanning up and down my body.
"I find it uncomfortable for someone to scan me like an object." I jokingly said which made her flinch and blush.
"I'm sorry! It's just that you changed a lot. Or is it just me?" She said.
These past five days I wasn't just sitting idly, doing nothing. I have been physically training my body to my limits, accumulating knowledge to my mind until fatigue overcomes me, and I was also training my Force Core to the point that its size has increased by a little amount.
My muscles have grown bigger, making my clothes tight already.
My Force Core has grown bigger as well within these five days of preparation thanks to the intense routine I have created for my Force Core. Now, I could gather more energies into my sternum.
My Force Core wasn't the only thing that has changed.
The chains that were always sprouting from my sternum to gather energies have changed its colors from black to white. Its appearance is now translucent pearl that seems to shine even under the darkness. One chain can now hold thousands of energies, unlike back then it can only hold hundreds.
My Force Senses have gotten sharper as well. My Body Enhancement has become more dense and easier to manipulate. With a single thought, Body Enhancement will do its thing even without my command.
Lastly, my manipulation of Force Hands has grown stronger than before. I can lift a thousand-pound object now. Only one though. Unless it is lighter than a thousand-pound, then I can carry more than one.
A Force Gate appeared in the middle of the gymnasium. The students saw the gate and made space for the professors to appear. The five professors walked out of the Force Gate with smiles which we found unsoothing, plastered in their faces.
"Is everyone ready?" Professor Yuki asked, obtaining nods from everyone. "Good. Now, shall we begin? The Welcome Ceremony."
Then, they gestured us to walk in the Force Gate. We could feel the powerful gust of wind from the other side even without getting near to it. The coldness sapped into our flesh, making those that were nervous already, more anxious than before because of the cold air.
Few minutes have passed by, and no one wanted to step first. I decided to take the opportunity to move forward towards the Force Gate.
Behind me, I could hear Watson saying, "Wait for me!".
It wasn't only me. The orange girl from earlier was walking towards the Force Gate as well. A male with a sky-blue hair and navy eyes was also walking towards the Force Gate. Lastly, my cru- I mean, the woman with a silver hair was also approaching the Force Gate as well.
"Will you look at that?" Professor Lightning said with a smirk on her face. "We have five, brave students walking in first with no fear. This is the first time I have seen this."
The five of us walked side by side, our eyes fixated only to the Force Gate. As we stepped in the other side, our vision immediately shifted to a new environment.
The time has come to test myself.
