I showered and rinsed the dirt and sweat from my body. When I came out of the bathroom, Ambrose was sitting on the bed waiting for me.
Looking all handsome and masculine in his black on black ensemble.
"Where's the fox?" He asked me, jolting me from gawking at him.
"She went out, and left a note." I pointed at the nightstand.
"The fox left a note? How is that even possible?" he asked picking up the note.
"She's a spirit, I'm sure she can do a lot of impossible things."
"True. Do you know what her true form looks like?" He asked curiosity beaming in his eyes.
"You'll have to wait until she shows it to you. Words can't describe how beautiful and soft she is in her true form." I answered.
"Wow, you can't even give me a hint?" He whined leaning back on the bed.
"Nope." I shot him a devilish smirk.
