River's father walked toward the door of Dark's smithy. He asked the boys to stand back as he knocked.

This time he heard the door unlock and slowly open. Lucas stood there, looking right at the Baron.
"Lord Grave, what brings you to our establishment?" Lucas spoke in a tone that was vastly different from before.

"Is your master in?" their father asked.
"Yes, he is. Come in," Lucas said, speaking calm and confident. He stepped inside and allowed the Baron in. The boys walked in behind.

He took a deep breath, signaling both boys to stand back. He walked toward the back.
