The best day, Riven returned to the tower with Quin, but Quin stood a good meter away from the tower.
Riven looked at him and thought he was kind of overreacting. When the door opened, Eon walked out with a magic staff.
She stood at the door, her gaze locked with Quin. The air became tense; Riven took a few steps back.
"Eon, looking good," Quin said.
"Save it," she said, then pointed the staff at him.
He raised his hands. "Let's not do that here, Eon. This is the academy, a battle here would destroy the entire school," he said.
"And you believe that I won't fight because of that?" she asked.
"Come on, Eon, I didn't come to fight, and I know you don't want to fight as well. I just wanted to tell you something very important.
I saw Lara," he said. Eon's eyes widened when she heard that, and she slowly lowered her staff.
