Chapter 266 - Undead skeleton

The surrounding went cold when everyone discovered what had happened here. They all backed away in fear, behaving like they didn't see what had happened. None of them wanted to be in trouble with the daughter of the Duke and the Royal Academy.

The guard went on his knees, placed his head on the ground, and began begging.

"Please, please, I didn't know, please." Tears poured from his eyes. It was an embarrassing scene to see a man on his knees crying, but no one could laugh. No one found it funny.

Because right before them was pretty much a dead man, and if he managed not to die, his entire life would have been ruined as a whole. There was no recovering from what had happened here today.

The guard knew this for a fact, and that was why he begged his heart out. He would rather lick her feet than allow her to go and inform the Marquis. That would be a death sentence.

"I'll not be forgiving you. You touched Riven, that's a death sentence," she said, her voice chilly as ever.
