Chapter 3 - The Amber of a prodigy

"When the 4th moon reaches its Sumberlance, can you kill me?"

Well, that was not a peculiar start to a story. But I would appreciate it if you kept your mouth shut about what you saw. Klein, the attackers, the Inferno dragons—you witnessed nothing. I appreciate your cooperation.

The incident occurred 120 years ago, on a mysterious night when all members of the famous Rainbow clan went extinct. King Otto the Third, the sovereign at the time, was a short, relatively robust old man who had ruled for five years, to be exact.

During this short time, he acquired quite a reputation for being rather slothful, not leaving his bedroom unless he had to be told. But he was a King who introduced hope for change, revolution, and the Light gates; a form of long-distance travel unlike any other.

The king addressed the kingdom and gave his mourning speech two nights after the disappearance of the great clan.

His words were needed, spreading hope and acceptance to the people. Of course, skepticism still ran rampant at that time.

Theories quickly became rampant, as people resorted to blaming Dragons, or Sky Crawlers, and the most forbidden theory, blaming King Otto and the Golden Clad. Of course, we know nothing.

Some said the Rainbow clan was buried, not destroyed.

Jump 120 years after the Incident, this is the Kingdom of Zion, a place that transcends your imagination. Magic, innovation, hexes, potions, knights, Technologies, steam engines -the kingdom has it all.

Cutting through the Center of this glorious kingdom is the River Scynther, the mystic river that glows turquoise in the morning and scarlet at night. The timed change in color is still debated, but the river has housed precious and substantial minerals.

Of course, the River became flooded with merchants and farmers. These people of great trade built around the river, and seven cities flourished.

Unfortunately, two of these uprising cities fell due to civil wars and external conflicts, and they became known as the Tarnished. The remaining five cities shared their spoils equally among themselves, as a way to be inspired by what not to be.

The first city to be built on the southern banks of the river is Freya, a city ruled by powerful women and specializing in the trade of potions and Hexes. Fabled to be founded by a woman "Marked by hell", the precise origin of the city is shrouded in mystery. Nevertheless, Freya is truly a beautiful state that is the oldest among the five.

Ezekiel Ebony Diyana, the war hero, didn't intend to found a city—he just wanted to keep his family alive. But from desperation, Eborny was born. Housed in the far east, after the egregious battle of the citadel - the brawl between powerful and territorial gangs - The knight and his family fled the horrors of war.

Built brick by brick, the civilization has earned its name through its humble expertise in training livestock, like the Mnather, Scrygor, Sawdines, werthorns, etc. And if the need arises, they also specialize in deadly war tactics called "Doom Towers".

Westward lies Oreja, once home to the Mammons—tactical, humanoid beasts now nearly extinct.

During the 3rd Zion Era, the knights cleared the ground and left the lands in ruins. Decades later, Humans and Titans chose to live in the desolate land, and they thrived.

Once dictated by a certain conqueror, the city found hope as they excelled in mystical and mechanical weapons such as swords, axes, crossbows, light daggers, Wind scthyes, Warriors masks, electro batons, Hell piercers, and their most deadly arsenal - The Oblivion Spheres, powerful bombs that tears apart atomos, the smallest unit of matter down to the quillionth.

The fourth, and rather the most peaceful, referred to as a haven, is the city of Byertha. Founded by a fallen noble, Isabella Crawley, the city was close to sharing the same fates as the Tarnished.

Building after a food crisis, they managed to find great progress in the indulgence of natural minerals like Red steel, Blue Azure, Hythons, Lobers, Glaciaton, Ollium, etc.

These cities might amaze you, but none come close to the most powerful of them all, Shawnforth. Though records of the founder have been hard to decipher, the City is by far the most industrialized of the 5 Scynther Cities. Can you guess what the city specializes in? Still guessing? Shawnforth became the leader in a revolutionary power source known as 'Geo Energy Technology.

During the slow days of Shawnforth, a certain farmer named Sir Adolf Ruther proposed the use of trees and plants to create clean energy to power engines and reduce pollution.

This worked too well, and Shawnforth became the second most important city in the Kingdom of Zion, second only to the capital.

In Shawnforth's heart, tucked inside a quiet neighborhood, stands a mansion. Beneath that mansion—a chamber. And in that chamber: a boy.

A 14-year-old boy with a fire that scourges doubt.

A boy who was gifted from birth, with powers that shocked everyone. Fourteen years old. Tall, lean, with unruly black hair and deep brown eyes that glint with dangerous ideas. Some call him mad, but others call him Inspiring.

A Knock sounded on the door. "Master Ceaser," Said a woman's voice. "Your mother will not be happy if you are late for breakfast today."

"In a Brumite," he answered frantically.

He took a deep breath and stretched out his palm. His eyes closed to expect the worst. "Neverland: Prometheus' punishment," He screamed.

Emerging from his hands was a strange blue energy. The energy immediately grew into a massive transparent sphere, encompassing one-third of the mansion.

The boy slowly opened his eyes to see his accomplishment, and he grinned. A sweet feeling of warmth, strength, and grace replenished his body, and the sphere beamed in a dazzling cyan light.

"First try," He murmured under his breath.

His name is Ceaser Nova Percival, our hero who will push this story to new heights, and a boy whose fate cries to the feet of the gods.

He is a prodigy born of myth and mystery, and whether he likes it or not—This story begins with him.
