"I see... In that case, I'll have to go down there personally," Selana said, her voice calm but resolute. "Ensign, Major—you're dismissed for the day. Get a good night's sleep."
"Yes, ma'am," we both said in unison, snapping into a salute at the same time.
"And Aurora..." Selana added, her tone softening slightly. "Have Doctor Ivanna take a look at your injury."
