Bayer's winger approaches the right back slowly and changes the directions quickly facing the center of the pitch.
He decides to pass the ball towards his attacking midfielder who's in the middle. But the ball is unexpectedly intercepted by Stuttgart's defensive midfielder.
He grabs the ball from the edge of his box and carries out towards the midfield. He runs through both midfielders.
In front of him he has Che, Speidel and Leon along with the attacking midfielder behind them as passing options.
Everyone in running forward in their positions as the counterattack has already begun against three of Bayer's defenders, he decides to pass it towards the attacking midfielder.
He gets the ball in front of him and he starts running with it, since he is closer to the side of the pitch he passes it towards Leon on the wing.
Leon slows down so that he doesn't run ahead of the ball, but the right back press him before he could take his first touch.
Leon stops the ball with his left foot first and immediately scoops it over the defender's knees as he tries to put his foot in with his right.
He runs past the defender and carries the attack forward, he looks up at the defenders and there's four of them against two center back, one being Halil.
He passes the ball back to the attacking midfielder who takes a touch, Che runs into the space and Halil follows him.
Which leaves Speidel in the far wing wide open, and he passes the ball towards him. Speidel gets the ball and Halil let's go of Che and has his focus on Speidel.
But Speidel is running with towards the goal in full speed, and he goes past Halil who had to slow down for him to be able to get to Speidel.
Speidel now in the box and with Halil closing in on him from behind, he decides to shoot to his close corner. The ball goes towards the goalkeeper and blocks it back to Speidel's feet.
He takes it and puts the ball to his right foot before attempting a shot, but Halil was in front of him, so he decides to fake the shot and put it to his left.
Before shooting with his left towards the close corner again. The ball rolls on the ground and the shot looks unconvincing as it rolls towards the goal.
The keeper stops the ball with his four fingers just as it's about to cross over the goal line. He pushes the ball back into play and Halil clears the ball out.
Bayer's right back gets the ball and starts running with it down the wing. He passes it towards their right winger and the winger takes it before cutting inside.
He carries the ball into the space in the midfield and their striker runs between the two center back asking for a through ball.
The winger delivers a power through ball for the striker and every Stuttgart didn't expect the pass. Now the striker is through one on one with keeper.
The keeper decides to come out the box as the striker takes a few touches before the keeper is finally in front of him.
The striker tries to take another touch tries to avoid the keeper and changing direction, but the dives for the ball and barely slaps it away from the striker's feet.
It was a risky attempt because if he didn't touch the ball, the striker could've had an open goal to score. Or even worse, he could've fouled him in the box which would lead to a penalty and a red card.
The ball is redirected behind the striker forcing him to turn around for the ball, but the striker tries to shoot the ball while trying to rotate his body in the process.
The striker shoots the ball, but the keeper stops the shot by blocking it with his left forearm. The ball ricocheted to air and while it's comes down he jumps for it and gets it.
The keeper shows the players that they should calm down, before distributing the ball towards the right back and he plays the ball towards the midfield
Bayer have changed their formation to a 4 - 4 - 2, after Che decided to switch positions with Speidel again and the defensive midfielder sends out a pass towards Che.
The ball gets to his feet and he stop the ball immediately at his feet. He jolts to his left and kicks the ball towards the wing running after.
Halil is next to him, Che changes direction towards the center and nutmegs him while at it. Che continues his run towards the center back.
He finally passes the ball towards Speidel and immediately runs towards the space expecting a pass back.
Speidel does just that, but the pass is too strong and fast, Che doesn't reach it fast enough and it goes towards the goalkeeper.
The keeper plays it towards Halil who's still on the left back; Bayer are still in their 4-4-2 formation. Halil gives the ball towards the attacking midfielder in the midfield.
Who gives the ball to his partner midfielder, and he starts slowly carrying the ball towards the attack. From the right side of the midfield, he immediately sends a lobbed through ball over the Stuttgart right back to the left who's the winger.
The left back gets the ball in behind with space to run, left winger now as a striker has already run in behind and is open with both defenders behind him.
The left back sends a grounded pass towards him, and the winger gets the ball with time and space one on one with the goalkeeper.
He calmly shoots the ball through the ground with a little finesse on it. The ball goes in the bottom right corner, and he runs to the corner to celebrate the first goal of the final.
Him along with two other players start celebrating in the corner flag dancing and smiling.
