Chapter 106 -  Chapter 106: Chris, How Can You Be So Cold? Violet Is About to Cry!

They finally understood—Violet had no idea about Chris's personality or character.

"She's way too full of herself," Carina shrugged, her cunning eyes gleaming as she smirked. "If Chris had answered the call, he would've hung up immediately."

Perona, floating in the air, nodded firmly. "No doubt about it."

"Our captain never repeats himself. If he tells her to speak directly, then she has to say it right away—no bargaining," Sweetheart Queen adjusted her golden hair, her eyes fixed on the man in front of her with a bitter smile.

"Chris never says anything twice. He's decisive, and no one can change his mind. That's just how domineering he is," Betty took a puff of her cigarette, as calm as ever.

"Most kings are like that. When they speak, those listening must take it seriously—nothing more," Kalifa shook her head, her beautiful face showing helplessness as she sighed. "But being too overbearing isn't good either. It makes him seem cold-blooded."

Reiju rested her chin on her hand and smiled gently at Bakara. "We don't even need to ask Chris about this."

"His answer will definitely be to hang up. There's no other possibility."

Bakara smiled back at Reiju and nodded in agreement.

Among everyone here, she had been with Chris the longest. If anyone truly understood this man, it was undoubtedly her.

To Bakara, Chris was the most dominant and overbearing man in the world—bar none.

"Violet, let me just say it outright."

Bakara smoothed her deep red hair, her elegant demeanor unwavering as she spoke with a composed smile. "You don't understand Chris at all."

"When he says something, he only says it once. He doesn't repeat himself."

"Yes, you might think your matter is important and requires a private conversation, with no outsiders listening."

"But that's just your personal opinion—you alone believe it's that crucial, nothing more."

Bakara glanced at the man in front of her before continuing. "Chris has a dedicated Den Den Mushi for the queens to contact him."

"As for mine, it's only for trivial matters—nothing significant."

"Do you understand what I'm saying? No matter how important your issue is, in Chris's eyes, it's not a big deal."

Bakara shook her head gracefully. "So, if you have something to say, just say it directly. Chris won't answer your call."

"It might sound harsh, Violet, but that's the reality. You'll have to accept it."

Silence fell on the other end again. Violet frowned, her beautiful face filled with frustration.

She never expected Chris to be like this—so cold and indifferent.

She had clearly stated that she had something extremely important to discuss, yet he didn't care at all.

Violet felt deeply hurt.

She had poured her heart out, desperately seeking help, only to be met with such icy treatment.

She was so upset she couldn't even speak.

Finally, she sighed and resigned herself to it.

After all, she was the one asking for Chris's help. If he chose to be cold in response, that was his right.

"Then I'll just say it directly."

Violet steeled herself, pushing all her negative emotions aside. Her face turned serious as she began explaining in detail.

"I am the princess of Dressrosa, forced to serve under Donquixote Doflamingo."

"My country was stolen by that bastard, and I want nothing more than to kill him myself to avenge my people."

Violet gritted her teeth, her exquisite face filled with fury. "My mother and many of my family members were brutally murdered."

"To get revenge, I joined the Donquixote Pirates as a spy, gathering intel on them."

"Some time ago, Doflamingo encountered Chris and fought him. Chris won."

Violet blinked, her eyes filled with awe. "When I heard Doflamingo mention this, I was shocked. It was unbelievable!"

"In that instant, my mind became clear, and I thought of a plan."

"I decided to contact Chris and ask him to help me take down Doflamingo."

Violet paused, tucking a strand of black hair behind her ear as she lowered her gaze in embarrassment. "If Chris is willing to help me… I…"

"I can become his woman, devote myself entirely to him, and obey his every word!"

"Chris, please help me… save my country, save Dressrosa."

"I'm begging you—"

She finished with a deep bow, her tone so sincere it was heartbreaking.

Hearing her pleading voice and tragic story, the women fell silent.

They pitied her, sympathizing deeply with her plight.

Kaya, the most innocent and kind-hearted, looked at Makino with sorrowful eyes. "Violet has suffered so much…"

"Her family was killed, yet she still has to work under her enemy. It's just… tragic."

"Her heart must be in so much pain."

Makino gently patted Kaya's head. She adored Kaya, treating her like a little sister.

Shaking her head, she sighed. "Everyone has their own fate. Not everyone can live happily."

"Let's not say too much. It's up to Chris to decide."

Carina frowned, glancing at Perona in confusion. "Isn't Doflamingo our business partner?"

Perona nodded, equally puzzled. "I don't get it either. Why would she ask Chris to go after a partner? That doesn't make sense."

Nojiko looked at Nami, her expression complicated. "She's just like us—her family was killed, yet she has to work for the murderer."

"Yeah… it's way too similar."

Nami sighed, recalling her own painful past. "Bell-mère was killed by Arlong, and I couldn't do anything. I even had to work under him."

"It's the same. Violet and I… we've both suffered so much."

Sweetheart Queen glanced at Chris, who was still training, seemingly oblivious to Violet's plea.

"...Becoming Chris's woman—that offer has zero appeal."

She turned to Betty with a bitter smile. "No way Chris would help just for that."

Betty took another drag of her cigarette, as composed as ever. "Our plans are already set."

"Becoming a Warlord, then forming the Warlord Alliance to share resources and information."

"So Chris definitely won't change his mind just for some woman."

Bakara knew exactly how Chris viewed women.

Since he was still training without a word, that was answer enough.

He simply wasn't interested—no need to say anything.

"Chris, my intuition tells me her country has something we need."

Bakara smoothed her deep red hair, her eyes studying Chris carefully before smiling. "I don't know what it is, but it feels important—something indispensable."

Her words left everyone stunned.

Violet stood by the window, her eyes filled with confusion. She had no idea what the woman on the other end was talking about.

Her country? What could it be?

Did Chris want to take over Dressrosa?

"Bakara's intuition is acting up again! I wonder what it is this time—so exciting!" Perona floated around Bakara, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Carina pondered for a moment before speaking with certainty. "If Bakara's instincts are this strong…"

"Then whatever it is must be extraordinary—something priceless."

Kalifa shrugged casually. "It can't be treasure. That leaves weapons or Devil Fruits."

"But I doubt it's those either. Those things aren't that important to us."

Kaya looked at Makino, her pure face filled with admiration. "Bakara's ability is so amazing."

Makino nodded gently, her voice soft. "Yes, she's the lucky goddess of our crew."

At that moment, Chris finally stopped training, his expression turning serious.

After all, this matter was far too important—it could affect their entire plan.

He had no choice but to take it seriously…
