"Phew, we're finally out."

Jacob and Amelia finally emerged from the Underground World through the tunnel. When they reached the surface, looking at the mountains and forests, basking in the sunlight, and breathing fresh air, they couldn't help but let out long sighs of relief.

Amelia's face was also glowing with a bright smile. She had just resigned herself to death, but unexpectedly, she had escaped with her life and survived.

She couldn't help but look up at the excited Jacob.

"Jacob, this is for you." Amelia took out Tyrantrum's Poké Ball and handed it to Jacob: "This is the Pokémon you caught."

"You keep it." Jacob thought for a moment and said. From Amelia's attitude when facing the threat of death in the Underground World, he had gained a new impression of Amelia: "You keep Tyrantrum for now, but whether you can make it obedient depends on your own abilities."

"By the way, Amelia, I want to ask you a question." Jacob suddenly changed his tone, turned to look at her, their gazes meeting.

"Do you think we can ever catch all the poachers?" Jacob seemed to be asking Amelia, but he was actually talking to himself: "Once one group of poachers is caught, new ones will take their place, endlessly. They've been catching them for decades, but the number of poachers hasn't decreased. Instead, it has only grown."

Listening to Jacob's words, Amelia fell silent. The reason why poaching persisted and even formed a huge industrial network was primarily due to the generous profits.

At the same time, the Pokémon Association didn't have enough personnel to guard every Wilderness Area. After all, guarding secret realms required King-level Trainers, protecting cities required King-level Trainers, defending Wilderness Areas required King-level Trainers, and engaging with foreign countries required King-level Trainers. Where would the Pokémon Association find so many King-level Trainers?

"What if I integrated all the poachers and then cooperated with the Patrol Team to control the entire poaching industry, benefiting everyone? Do you think this is possible?"

Amelia turned to look at Jacob, her eyes filled with surprise. She saw the word "ambition" in Jacob's eyes, witnessing his ambitious side.

A scientific genius, whose maternal grandparents were scientific masters, and whose father was a Gym Leader, had actually come up with the dangerous idea of integrating poachers.

Amelia couldn't help but advise: "Jacob, I don't think you should get involved in this kind of thing. What if it affects your future?"

In Amelia's opinion, as long as Jacob grew steadily, he would definitely be able to achieve King-level Trainers status in the future, and there was no need to ruin his future for poaching Pokémon.

Jacob shook his head. On one hand, he was indeed trying to capture rare Pokémon, but on the other hand, he was also deeply moved by the stories of the Patrol Team.

As the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility. In the past, he might have just wanted to live a peaceful and stable life, but as his strength continued to increase, Jacob also had other ideas.

To change the Pokémon Association, and even the entire world.

"If that day truly comes, I hope you can help me. Will you come?" Jacob looked at Amelia with burning eyes, awaiting her response.

"Jacob..."

"It's nothing, I was just kidding." Seeing the hesitation in Amelia's eyes, Jacob didn't force her and found an excuse for himself.

"Jacob." Amelia looked up at Jacob. She could tell from his eyes and tone just now that he was definitely not joking and certainly had such an idea: "I really hope you don't do such a thing."

"But I want to hear your plan, after all, you're my boss."

This trip to the Underground World had been quite fruitful for Jacob and his companion. Not only had they captured two Pokémon with King potential - one Aerodactyl with King strength, and one Tyrantrum with Gym Leader level strength - but more importantly, they had also discovered the Underground World and traced Metagross's whereabouts.

Jacob remembered the entrance to the Underground World, and he could enter the Underground World again to capture Metagross if he had the chance in the future.

After returning to the surface and calming down, Jacob thought back carefully and realized that so many Pokémon with outstanding potential had appeared in the Underground World.

Tyrantrum with King potential, Aerodactyl with King level, and Metagross with Champion level.

Jacob had been so focused on his own safety that he hadn't noticed it before, but now the more he thought about it, the more he felt something was wrong. Wild Pokémon with King level potential were actually very rare, not to mention Pokémon with Champion level potential.

One or two could be attributed to luck, but there were three in this Underground World, and all of them were Steel and Rock-type Pokémon, which was quite unreasonable.

There were only two possibilities for this situation: one was that there was a Steel or Rock secret realm deep within this Underground World, influenced by the secret realm's energy.

Another possibility was that there was a Steel or Rock-type Legendary Pokémon in this Underground World, and Jacob estimated that this possibility was greater.

There were only three Rock-type Legendary Pokémon: Regirock, Terrakion, and Diancie. There were many Steel-type Legendary Pokémon: Registeel, Jirachi, Dialga, Heatran, Cobalion, Genesect, Solgaleo, Magearna, Melmetal, Zacian, and Zamazenta.

Excluding the primary Legendary Pokémon, Jacob felt that the most likely ones to appear in this Underground World were Regirock, Diancie, Registeel, or Jirachi.

Of course, this was just Jacob's speculation, and the specifics would have to wait until the next exploration.

Upon returning to the Patrol Team, Jacob and Amelia first went to the infirmary to treat their injured Pokémon, then reported to Roger that they had caught Pokémon, and offered to pay two million pokédollars to purchase two slots.

Roger nodded, asked what Pokémon Jacob and the other had caught, and then didn't press further.

After all, this was also considered an unwritten benefit and unspoken rule for Patrol Team members, and Jacob's future talent was limitless, so Roger naturally wouldn't make things difficult for Jacob, turning a blind eye and considering it a favor.

Next, Jacob and Amelia settled into the monotonous life of the Patrol Team, living a repetitive cycle of patrol, rest, and more rest.

The next day, at nine in the morning, it was again the day for Team One to patrol. Considering that Jacob had a King level Alakazam, making him the strongest in Team One, Jacob's three-person team was changed to Jacob, Amelia, and Maya.

After all, in the Patrol Team, except for the Captain and Vice-Captain who were King-level Trainers, the team leaders like the Captain of Team One and Captain of Team Two were all Gym Leader level Trainers.

"Let's go. Our patrol area this time is the Sky Mountain Range, which is considered the most dangerous area within the Wilderness Area." Maya introduced to Jacob and Amelia: "Normally, our patrol route starts from the camp, riding Flying-type Pokémon directly west until we reach the border, then flying back along the border. This round trip takes about twelve hours."

Maya was twenty-three years old this year, almost twenty-four. After graduating, she had joined the Pokémon Association's Special Investigation Team, commonly known as the Special Squad. However, all Special Squad members must work in remote areas for the first two years, and Maya had been assigned to the Sundawn Plateau Wilderness Area.

Maya's strength was considered good among her peers. She had two Pokémon with Gym Leader level strength, and all her other Pokémon were Overlord Class strength.

Her voice carried a pleasant, melodic accent, making it very comfortable to listen to.

However, due to her long-term work in the Patrol Team, her skin was darker, showing a healthy sun-kissed complexion. And because of her long-term exercise, she had an incredibly impressive physique.

Jacob held the map, looking at the scope of Sky Mountain, his brows furrowed. The Sky Mountain Range was extremely vast, occupying almost one-third of the Wilderness Area's size, making their patrol mission today incredibly demanding.

"Do you have Flying-type Pokémon?" Maya asked the two: "If not, go get one immediately."

"I have Flying-type Pokémon." Jacob now had two Flying-type Pokémon.

One Charizard, and one recently captured Aerodactyl, though this Aerodactyl was not very obedient yet. This was a common problem when capturing wild Pokémon.

Even though Jacob gave it medicine, enticed it with delicious food, and fed it energy cubes, it remained quite violent and full of aggression.

"I don't have a Flying-type Pokémon." Amelia shook her head.

"Then come with me to get one."

Amelia followed Maya to receive a Flying-type Pokémon, Fearow, and began their official patrol journey.
