The vast Underground World, with its rock walls constructed from sparkling pink diamonds, created the sensation of standing within a realm made entirely of precious gems.
The radiant light emanating from the center of the Underground World illuminated every corner of the vast chamber, where countless Rock-type, Steel-type, and Fairy-type Pokemon had gathered in reverent assembly.
This scene represented Jacob's ideal paradise—he genuinely wanted to transform into a ruthless Pokemon acquisition specialist, unleash his full potential, and somehow capture every single Pokemon dwelling within this magnificent underground kingdom.
However, Jacob still maintained certain moral boundaries. While he possessed a strong desire to capture powerful Pokemon, he also valued the importance of genuine emotional bonds and relationships with Pokemon partners.
Jacob forced himself to suppress these overwhelming thoughts and directed his gaze toward the center of the ceremonial arena. Just moments earlier, two Diancie had been born simultaneously, one immediately following the other in a spectacular display.
Witnessing this incredible scene, Jacob's eyes widened with amazement, and the desire burning within his heart surged to new heights.
If there had been only a single Diancie present, Jacob might not have dared to consider attempting capture. However, with two Diancie now before him, Jacob's mind began formulating ambitious plans.
"Two Diancie—one becomes the rightful queen of the Carbink tribe, and I capture the other. That shouldn't be too unreasonable, should it? After all, one mountain cannot accommodate two tigers. Surely the Carbink wouldn't want two competing queens ruling their kingdom simultaneously?"
Following the birth of both Diancie, all the surrounding Carbink began hopping and jumping backward in organized fashion, slowly creating a large open space and establishing respectful distance from their two potential queens. This coordinated movement formed a perfect circular clearing at the heart of the gathering.
At the center of this circular clearing stood the mysterious light source that had been illuminating the entire Underground World. Even now, Jacob still couldn't clearly identify what this glowing object actually was.
The two Diancie, carrying themselves with regal dignity, stepped onto the circular clearing with graceful movements. Their gazes met across the sacred space, sizing each other up with careful assessment.
Taking advantage of this momentous opportunity, Jacob led his two Pokemon companions in pushing forward through the crowd. After navigating through dense masses of Carbink spectators, he finally reached the core area, and at last he could clearly observe the glowing object positioned at the arena's center.
There before him sat a magnificent pink diamond throne, absolutely dazzling as it emitted brilliant light in all directions. This pink diamond throne was undoubtedly the most expensive luxury item in existence—a truly priceless treasure beyond monetary valuation.
Simultaneously, this pink diamond throne was completely surrounded by flowing ribbons of pink Fairy-type energy and luminous halos of Rock-type energy.
Upon the throne, Jacob discovered something that made his blood run cold—the corpse of a giant Diancie. This deceased Pokemon measured approximately two meters in height, and despite having died long ago, it still maintained its elegant posture from life, sitting gracefully upon the throne while leaning against the ornate backrest.
Although the giant Diancie had clearly lost all vital signs ages ago, the pink diamond crown adorning its head continued to emit dazzling light. At the same time, it radiated tremendous amounts of both Fairy-type and Rock-type energy, creating the attractive force that had drawn all the Pokemon throughout this vast Underground World to this sacred location.
This crown represented the most precious treasure of the entire Underground World.
[Diancie's Diamond Crown]: A special item containing immense Rock-type and Fairy-type energy, representing an artifact left behind after a legendary Diancie's death.
Diancie's Diamond Crown can dramatically accelerate the growth rate of nearby Rock-type and Fairy-type Pokemon while transforming the surrounding environment, making it extraordinarily suitable for Fairy-type and Rock-type Pokemon habitation.
Additionally, if any Rock-type or Fairy-type Pokemon wears the crown, it will automatically absorb the energy contained within, which will greatly improve its potential and strength, and grant access to Diancie's exclusive signature move, Diamond Storm.
Jacob stared at this incredible special item, feeling as though fire was literally burning within his chest. His eyes became bloodshot with desire, and even his breathing grew heavy with anticipation.
It wasn't that treasures capable of improving Pokemon potential didn't exist in this world, but such treasures were extraordinarily expensive and rare, typically offering only a small chance to provide slight improvements to potential.
However, this crown directly provided massive improvements to both Pokemon potential and strength—something that was virtually unheard of throughout the entire Pokemon world.
This discovery made Jacob intensely curious about the potential effects of items like Rayquaza's Dragon Scales, Arceus's mystical plates, Kyurem's Dragon Scales, and Eternatus's Energy Core.
If the opportunity ever presented itself, he absolutely had to acquire some of their scales to improve the potential of his Dragon-type Pokemon.
A powerful surge of impulse rose within Jacob's heart. He now desperately wished he could charge directly toward the throne, claim this magnificent seat of power, wear the legendary crown, and use Teleport to escape with his prize.
If he could successfully obtain this special item, this expedition to the Underground World would represent an absolutely incredible windfall beyond his wildest dreams.
However, Jacob quickly forced himself to suppress these dangerous thoughts, recognizing that it would be absolutely impossible for him to escape with Diancie's Diamond Crown unharmed. Setting aside the dense crowds of Carbink surrounding them, just the two Metagross and other Heavenly King-level Pokemon would be more than enough to make Jacob's life extremely difficult.
Moreover, this sacred item clearly held tremendous importance to the Carbink Kingdom and to these two newborn Diancie.
Jacob decided to continue observing the situation patiently, hoping he might eventually discover an opportunity to claim something valuable.
Besides the magnificent crown, Jacob also noticed a pink Mega Evolution Stone clutched firmly in the hands of the deceased Diancie's corpse.
Even without any specialized knowledge about Mega Evolution Stones, Jacob could easily determine that this was definitely Diancie's unique Mega Evolution Stone.
The two living Diancie positioned themselves on opposite sides of the diamond throne, their gazes simultaneously focused on the magnificent seat of power, then shifting to study each other with growing intensity.
The pink diamond crowns adorning both Diancie's heads sparkled brilliantly, creating a magnificent display that highlighted their noble and beautiful temperament, truly living up to their reputation as "Royal Pink Princesses."
However, these two pink princesses now radiated unmistakable hostility toward each other, appearing ready to engage in combat at any moment.
Using his system's analytical abilities, Jacob discovered that both Diancie possessed identical potential levels, and their move sets were also perfectly matched. The only distinguishable difference was a slight disparity in physical size—the Diancie born first was marginally larger, while the second was slightly smaller.
The two Diancie continued staring at each other intensely, creating a heavy and oppressive atmosphere. Burning fighting spirit blazed within their eyes as they both understood that their counterpart represented their destined rival.
This confrontation was inevitable because there could only be one queen ruling any Carbink kingdom—only one sovereign could govern the Carbink realm.
"Could it be that the previous queen of this Carbink Kingdom died, and the kingdom required a new ruler, which is why these new Diancie were born?"
Jacob's gaze remained fixed on both Diancie as he gradually pieced together the complete story. However, what made him even more curious was the fate of the Diancie sitting upon the throne—it was a Legendary Pokemon, so how exactly had it died?
Had it died naturally from old age?
Do gem-type Pokemon actually experience natural death from aging?
Or had some other cause been responsible?
While Jacob pondered these mysteries, he suddenly observed Rock-type and Fairy-type energy surging from both Diancie simultaneously as they launched themselves toward the throne.
Their primary objective was clearly to seize control of the throne and claim possession of Diancie's Diamond Crown!
The Rock-type and Fairy-type energy contained within the crown represented pure nourishment for the newly born Diancie. Both desperately wanted to claim this pink diamond crown for themselves.
Whoever succeeded in claiming this legendary pink diamond crown would be able to rapidly develop into the true queen of the Carbink Kingdom. However, there was only one crown available, and consequently, there could only be one queen.
The two Diancie engaged in fierce combat, beginning with simple physical collisions and tackles. As the battle grew increasingly intense, both Diancie's natural battle instincts awakened, and they began incorporating energy-based attacks into their combat techniques.
With each powerful collision between the two Diancie, the impact drew enthusiastic cheers from all the Pokemon present. They served as an audience of devoted spectators, cheering passionately for this epic battle and for whichever potential queen they favored!
