Lana didn't answer immediately, pausing for a moment. A flicker of hesitation flashed in her eyes.
"Honestly, I don't know either. It's a classified project—a weapon forged for us by the dwarves. In fact, it doesn't only belong to us. The person I told you about who's coming with you? This is actually a joint project between us and the force backing her."
"I see. But if I don't even know what it looks like, how am I supposed to find it?" Daniel smirked sarcastically.
He could tell that this woman knew exactly what the weapon was but simply didn't want to tell him—or maybe she wasn't allowed to.
It surprised him a little. After everything they had been through, she still didn't trust him? On second thought, maybe it was reasonable.
Not that there was anything he could do about it.
"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll recognize it the moment you see it."
