Another reason was to check on the state of his Fallen. It had been a long time since he had paid attention to their growth, especially his earliest Fallen such as Vorak, Azrak, and Elarion.
These Fallen had been with him for a long time, but because of everything that had happened, he hadn't had the chance to talk to them or check their situations.
