After arriving at the guild, Daniel went straight to the leader's office. He had already announced his arrival, and Lana had messaged him that only her father was there at the moment.
She didn't say where she herself was, and Daniel didn't ask.
"Come in." Varnos' voice, the guild leader, was heard from behind the door.
Daniel opened it and saw the guild leader sitting in his chair, apparently reviewing different files. A cup of tea was beside him, and the fatigue on his face was obvious.
"Daniel? Welcome!" When Varnos saw who it was, he smiled and stood up. He warmly welcomed his guest and gestured for him to sit.
"It's been a while since we last saw each other, Mr. Varnos."
"That's true, it has been a while. Though I heard from Lana that during this time you were a huge help to the guild and even saved my daughter." The guild leader sat down on the sofa in front of him.
