IRIS
I woke up in an unfamiliar room holding my head in confusion as I tried to take in my environment. Hearing the door open, I looked up, watching as an unfamiliar older woman approached me on the bed, carrying a tray.
She sets it down on the coffee table beside the bed, giving me a view of the content instead. Darting my eyes from the tray back to her, judging from her appearance I could tell she was a healer. While Hilda doesn't dress hippy like, this woman has on crystalized stones, bracelets and even her hair has beads embedded in the braids.
"Where am I?" I cleared my throat, hardly hearing my own voice.
"You are in my home." She motioned around her. "You don't need to worry, you're in safe hands."
I have no doubts about that, I mean the last thing I remember was falling into the lake. For some reason, I was suddenly overtaken with a sense of panic. The water became larger than life, I felt cold, damped and trapped.
