Chapter 399 - Chapter 400: Drunk Women

Actually, Aiden wasn't surprised at all that Mature and Vice made such a decision, he just didn't expect it to happen so quickly.

But thinking carefully, it didn't really count as fast. You know, in the official original storyline, Mature and Vice were also gradually attracted to Iori Yagami only after witnessing his power… They seemed to have a "worship the strong" tendency.

Based on Aiden's display just now, he was far stronger than Iori Yagami, who hadn't even appeared yet. To have known them for this long and only now win them over, this speed was actually already considered slow.

Hearing Mature's words, Aiden said seriously, "Actually, what I was thinking was one dragon and three phoenixes."

"Adding Shermie?"

"She counts as your big sister."

"You could say that. But you want us to live together with her?"

"Wouldn't living together be more convenient?"

"More convenient for you, you mean…"

Aiden only smiled without saying anything.

"If we live with Shermie, her personality is too terrible, mainly she's kinda lazy."

Vice suddenly sat up straight, frowning as she complained, "Every time she makes the house a terrible mess before cleaning it. If we live with her, Mature and I will basically end up being her laborers. She'll definitely dump all the house chores on us."

"The key point is we can't beat her…" Mature turned her head to glance at Aiden, then quickly turned back.

"Among the Four Heavenly Kings, the strongest is Boss Goenitz. As for the other three, they're hard to compare, but in terms of destructive power, she's the strongest."

Lightning attacks naturally have the greatest destructive power.

"If we can't beat her, she can boss us around without any guilt…"

"So annoying…"

In reality, although Mature and Vice complained like this, in the end they didn't oppose living together with Shermie. After all, they were members of the Eight Heirs.

Even if they didn't get along very well, at least they understood each other. Living together meant they'd have things to talk about, so overall the good outweighed the bad.

After saying this, Mature parked the car in front of a restaurant, this was the place Aiden had arranged to meet the Kagura sisters and Mai shiranui and the others for dinner before he left with Mature and Vice.

Passing through the restaurant lobby, the three walked toward the private room in the back. At this moment, the TV in the lobby was broadcasting news about the explosion on Rugal's private aircraft carrier.

Aiden felt a bit surprised. Logically, after all this time, the Kagura sisters should have already received the news of the explosion. Why hadn't they called him yet?

Just as he was thinking, the three arrived at the door of the private room. Aiden pushed the door open, and a strong smell of alcohol rushed out. Looking inside, he saw that the Kagura sisters and Mai's group were already drunk.

No wonder they hadn't heard about the explosion.

But honestly, it was quite unexpected that they were able to drink together peacefully like this.

"Aiden… hurry over here, we were waiting for you."

Mai was sitting facing the door. The moment she saw Aiden, she stood up and waved him over. But when she saw Mature and Vice walking in behind him, she immediately pouted.

"Why are they here too?" Mai's voice carried obvious displeasure.

"They're Shermie's good sisters." Aiden said right away, but those words were a little insincere.

Then he glanced around the room and realized a few people were missing.

"Where's Master Chin and Kensou?" Aiden asked Athena, who was sitting next to Yuri.

"Master and Senior Brother didn't come. They said it's all women here, so it'd be inconvenient." Athena had drunk quite a bit too, her little face was flushed red, and even her tongue was a little slow.

"I see." Aiden knew Master Chin was avoiding suspicion, so he didn't continue. He then sat down between Chizuru and Mai.

Mature and Vice walked in and immediately sat next to Shermie. Then Mature leaned toward her and whispered a few words. Shermie squinted her eyes and looked at Aiden.

Although she didn't say anything, that full-of-implication gaze made Aiden instantly understand.

She agreed.

There was nothing to be embarrassed about. Aiden smiled at Shermie, then accepted the cup of alcohol Mai handed him and took a sip.

"Mai, this is your prize money."

But the already very drunk Mai didn't even think about taking it. She only said, "Aiden, you keep it for us."

Aiden blinked, then looked toward King and Yuri.

King was fine. Her tolerance was high, her eyes were still clear. Seeing him look over, she waved her hand. "You've already spent plenty of money on me."

In fact, she wanted to say that Aiden had spent a lot of money on her brother, but after replacing 'her brother' with herself, the meaning of the sentence changed completely.

Spending money on her brother was kindness. Spending money on her was… affection.

Since even King, the one who needed money most, said that, Aiden didn't bother asking Yuri. That girl had always been insensitive to money; whenever she needed some, she would just reach out toward Mai, and Mai always gave it to her.

Another reason was that Yuri was already drunk. Right now she was leaning over the table, whispering to Athena, who was about the same age as her, completely unaware of his gaze.

Putting the card away, Aiden reached into his pocket again, planning to give Athena and her master's prize money to her, but seeing her current drunken state, he decided it'd be better to wait until she sobered up.

Sighing softly, Aiden raised his glass and took another sip, but before he could swallow, two arms suddenly wrapped around his neck.

Aiden looked in surprise at Chizuru, because those arms belonged to her.

"How much did she drink…" Aiden stared at her blankly. You know, Chizuru always maintained a dignified and serious appearance no matter when or where. But now…

Still, drunk Chizuru was quite cute. Although she was beautiful when dignified, it always felt like something was missing.

Luckily, even though she was drunk, Chizuru retained a bit of clarity. She only held onto Aiden's neck and didn't make any other moves.

But Aiden could tell from the shrine maiden's eyes that she wanted to do something.

If it were at another time, or another place, without so many people around, Aiden would probably have been unable to resist doing something back.

Thinking this, Aiden first looked around, and then saw Goenico sitting next to Helena, staring at him and Chizuru with a strange expression.

Actually, Goenico wasn't that young, she was already thirteen or fourteen. And European girls matured early; she understood everything.

But Aiden still viewed her through his own way of thinking.

He thought, 'Next time.'
