"Collecting their cores by hand would take too much time," Kev thought, activating his shadow manipulation skill to get the job done faster and more efficiently.
He stored the collected cores in his magic pouch before using the Shadow Steal skill followed by the Corpse Collection skill.
These two skills only worked on enemies he had personally slain, but he hadn't taken down all the Skinners himself.
More than a dozen were gunned down by Lena and Agatha, and Bell had finished off a few as well. Because of that, he couldn't claim the shadows or corpses of those particular enemies.
Still, there were plenty that had died by his hands.
From those, he successfully harvested 45 units of shadows and earned 45 corpse collection points. Before this, he had 205 units of shadows and 35 corpse collection points. The addition of 45 to each pushed his units of shadows to 250 and his corpse collection points to 80.
