With thought, in his mind, he nodded and said, "Alright, I will become his friend…"
Jade heaved a sigh of relief when he saw his father taking his words seriously. He stood up and looked at Ronan with a deep gaze before turning toward his face and said,
"Let cousin go, Father. He wasn't at a mistake."
Ronan was excited hearing Jade's words and expectantly looked at Frank who waved his hand, and Ronan immediately stood up,
"Jade, you are still the best."
He dropped one sentence before running away.
Frank saw Ronan's retreating back and asked, "Why did you let him go?"
Jade only looked at Ronan's back with a heavy gaze. Though he felt guilty in his heart, he calmly looked away,
"He was the one who had made a mistake. He should pay for it."
Frank was confused… or maybe he wasn't, but he still left the room after leaving the sentence, "You are too complex, Jade."
