He glanced at Ivy, then cleared his throat and said in a more serious voice,
"In fact, there are many more incidents. But the one I still remember the most clearly is when a girl wanted to confess to you."
Ivy was taken aback; the curiosity in her heart piqued. "A girl?"
Ronak nodded with exaggerated seriousness.
"Yes. She wrote you a letter. But before she could give it, Silas found out. And what did he do? He marched right up to her, tore her letter in half, and told her that students should focus on their studies, not on nonsense like love."
Silas's head dropped into his hands. His whole body screamed regret.
'Why is he saying this… I should never have let him live after that day.'
Ivy's eyes widened in surprise as laughter rolled out of her throat.
"Silas, you did that? To a poor girl?"
Ronak slapped his knee, laughing so hard he almost fell.
