"Xu…It isn't safe for you to stay here anymore!" said Xeno.
Maximilian Alexander's body or Xu's father's body was lying on the ground with blood coming from his head. Martha ran towards Xu and hugged him tightly as she started to cry like a waterfall. Xeno stood by Martha and placed his hand on her shoulder. Xeno killed Alexander after he had abused Martha and Xu. He learnt about this predicament when Xu wrote his own name on his hand and sent a spell that was a signal to Xeno alerting him of danger. Xeno once he arrived at the scene instantly knew what was going on and in a trance murdered the Head of the Maximilian Family.
"Xeno…Xu…Go away from here please," said Martha as she cleared her tears.
Multiple sirens started to be rung as the sound filled the entire Colony of Narcabim, the colony that the Maximilian family ruled. The empty void of the night got filled with red and white lights as multiple military troops were dispatched to the mansion where they were currently at.
A loud bang at the door was heard and eventually…the door broke.
Multiple armed guards rushed inside to see that Alexander had been murdered, his lifeless corpse unmoving on the cold marble floor as the white walls were tainted with blood. Martha was beside Alexander holding a knife while Xeno and Xu were nowhere to be seen.
Xeno and Xu were running away from the mansion using a series of underground tunnels that Martha secretly constructed when the mansion was still being built and with the help of their butler Joseph Keery they managed to escape out of the mansion and into the rural areas of Narcabim. It was raining heavily and the sound of footsteps running on puddles of water on cement was a satisfying sound. Xu could not hold back his tears as he thought about his mother. Xeno tried to comfort him but failed.
"There was…No other way…I'm so sorry Xu," apologized Xeno.
"You did nothing wrong…My father was a cruel, twisted, bastard anyway but was there really no way to save my mother?" asked Xu.
"If there were more than three people in the tunnels then we would have been caught due to the immense security outside the tunnels and using their weight detecting machine that got enhanced with force and gravity sorcery they would have caught either all of us in the tunnels or alerted us that we are on the run. Aunt…did a remarkable sacrifice she truly thought of everything," explained Xeno.
"Mother's love is an unprecedented thing young master," said Joseph as he guided Xeno and Xu through the alleyways.
"Where will we go? After this?" asked Xu.
"The Land Beneath…Is the only option as of now. Since you are the son of Maximilian and the son of the murderer of a Lord then you will also be punished once you get caught with the military using their biometrics and enhanced gadgets," explained Joseph.
"What? The Land Beneath? Isn't it inhabitable?" asked Xu.
"No…My father Vladimir had planned missions to explore down there, you will be going in one of the carts. It is habitable and there are civilizations down there," said Xeno with a heavy heart letting his best friend go into an uncharted territory.
"Why? I can fight, I can stay here!" fought back Xu.
"No, my own father, Clan Destiny, and Clan Alpha will be hunting you. There is no piece of land on this floating mess they won't search to find you," explained Xeno.
"We can make a fake story saying that Martha had also killed you…" said Joseph.
"No! If you do that I swear I'll murder you on the spot," crashed out Xu clenching his fists.
"Fine, young master," said Joseph.
Using a secret teleport pad created by Joseph's friends in Clan Destiny who were in the underground, Xu was teleported outside Northguard City to the Land Beneath.
Before he left.
"Xu," said Xeno.
Xu was ready to leave packing his things and carrying a giant bag with enough food and clothes to last him a week. He looked at Xeno.
Xeno ran to him and gave him a big hug and then gave him a firm handshake. Xu hugged him back and bowed to him, like a soldier bowing to a king.
"One day, I'll return when you call me…And when I do, I better see you as the King and if not I'll make you the King. Think of this as my promise to my best friend for helping me through life," said Xu.
Xeno smiled and Xu smiled back before Joseph gave Xu a big hug and Xu departed. After Xu's teleportation was confirmed to be a success, Xeno started to break down in tears as Joseph held him tightly.
"It's all my fault!" cried Xeno.
"Shh, no it isn't and if you think it is…One day you'll see him again and make it up to him," motivated Joseph.
"Poor Xu, at the age of 12 he had to leave his homeland to an uncharted territory with only a week's worth of supplies. Who knows when I'll see him again," said Xeno.
"He is Maximilian Xu afterall, he will do just fine," assured Joseph with teary eyes reflected off the dim purple lights of the underground.
That same day Vladimir created a coup in the Clan with No Name and betrayed the clan by gaining the trust of most of the Lords and murdering or massacring the entire clan. This event was the extinction of the Clan with No Name.
In Xu's cave ten years later. End of Vladimir's Era, Beginning of the War Era.
Xu stared at the note for a minute. Then he stared at it for an hour. Soon he wasted his entire afternoon staring at the X.
"I did promise to return once he called me," thought Xu.
Footsteps were heard as the tap sound of boots was growing louder. Xu quickly grabbed his gauntlets and placed them over his hands. He powered them up creating a blue stream of energy going to each of the fingers of the gauntlet.
The gauntlets worked by Xu supplying soul energy by mixing it with a liquid that can react with soul energy, in this case the water from the Holy Spring. This enhances the power that he can exhibit and adding this power-up to his Sorcery of Blood he managed to create a name for himself down in the Land Beneath.

Throughout Indus, the newly established Starry Kingdom, The Unified Republic of Lukia and the Azura Nation he was a weapon for hire who had a hundred percent work complete rate. A brutal monster who can adapt to anything.
"You made quite a name for yourself," said an echoing voice.
Xu stayed calm and used Essence to pinpoint where the voice was coming from. Out of nowhere an enemy who looked like a demon ran towards Xu.
Xu quickly punched the demon in the stomach and caused a lag-explosion which was a miniature explosion that occurs after the punch landed and implants a tiny dynamite piece as the punch lands from the gauntlet.
The demon's body vanished as it fell to the ground. Multiple more demons appeared as Xu quickly started to attack them all using his left and right hands to quickly end them all. After Xu had killed them they would flop to the ground and dissipate into the surroundings.
Xu knew that in order to beat the enemy he had to know the enemy, therefore he tested something out using his Sorcery of Blood. He tested if these things are real demons or not and to his surprise these demons were not demons at all…These were avatars! Impersonators!
"An Avatar sorcery technique? I haven't seen that since…It can't be," thought Xu.
Xu quickly clapped his hands and pointed the nails of his hands forward before unleashing multiple beams of high pressurized blood that cut through and killed all the demons. As the hordes increased, he jumped up and created a solid hammer made of blood with extremely high density and smashed it onto the ground to make some space for himself before swinging it with one hand and punching the remaining demons with his left hand and lag-explosions.
Then he threw the hammer, making it explode onto multiple demons, and then spread his arms out wide and then suddenly clapped his hands and as he did that multiple spikes of blood underground started to emerge like shark teeth and killed the remaining demon avatars.
He used Essence to check if these were the last and then from the shadows of the cave a familiar silhouette emerged.
The long hair, the chain of Vladimir and the Avatar sorcery.
Now he was certain that this man was none other than…
"How have you been? My best friend?" asked Xeno as he walked towards Xu with an old man using a walking stick.
"Joseph! Xeno!" said Xu as he looked into Joseph's eyes and memories started instantly flooding back.
"I told you one day you'll see him again," said Joseph.
"Yes, I remember and Xu you also said that you'd make me King didn't you?" asked Xeno.
