Nicole gave me the sheet of paper which had frightened her so badly, and for the first time since she told me about coming here, I thought it was a good thing she came as we had just discovered a dangerous plot which had only just begun.
Although I ordered my men to increase the speed of the cars, it was not because I was worried about the kids. I was worried, but my worry was about Nicole, and not the kids, as I was sure the kids were safe, super safe.
Nicole was worried, and I understood why. She must think that she was led here to be distracted while the real attack was going on back in the mansion with the kids as their victims.
I didn't offer any comfort to Nicole as the cars sped towards home. The message which Nicole was fussing about was not meant for us to see so they couldn't be at the mansion, launching an attack. If they were, they were surely wasting their time.
