Chapter 55 - The One Who Knew

In the heart of a crumbling temple, where light barely touched the dust-soaked stone, he stood — nameless to most, forgotten by all. But once, he was hailed as the greatest mind of his generation. A thinker. A dreamer. A truth-seeker.

And that was his curse.

He had seen through Amon.

When others bowed, he questioned. When the world called Amon "God," he said, "No, he is not."

At first, they laughed. Then they feared him. And finally, they erased him.

He walked alone through cities that once praised him, now whispering his name with hatred. Children were taught he was a traitor. Scholars mocked his teachings. His friends... stayed silent.

Not because they disagreed — but because they were afraid.

"Truth," he once said to the council of believers, "does not fear questions. Only lies do."

But the people did not want truth. They wanted comfort. Amon gave them that — rules, answers, promises. He gave them purpose, even if built on manipulation.

And he? He gave them doubt. So they buried him beneath their faith.

But there was one thing they didn't know.

He survived.

Hiding in the shadows of time, carrying with him the burden of reality, he watched as the world danced around the lie. He wrote, he planned. He waited.

And in his journal, he wrote a single line:

> "Fools do not deny truth because they fear it — they deny it because to accept it would mean admitting they were wrong. And that, they cannot bear."

Now, as the winds shift and Sunny walks through the layers of dream and nightmare, a new piece of the puzzle is about to surface — a meeting that will change everything.

Because the one who knew… still knows.
