Leon drew a slow, deep breath, expanding his lungs to their capacity. His chest puffed out as he gazed down at the lake's red surface, the result of battle tainting the waters that had been silver. The corpse of the Aqua Serpent-Beast floated nearby, half-immersed, its lifeless bulk sending ripples across the lake's unnatural quiet.
Then—SPLASH!
He plunged beneath the surface.
