Bonnie kept her eyes on the screen. "I won't stop you."

The next second, just as Bonnie was happily watching TV, Derek suddenly hoisted her over his shoulder.
She yelped. "What are you doing?!"
Derek's voice was dangerously low. "Handsome Derek is a little upset right now. I need you to help me cool off."

Soon enough, a woman's scream echoed from upstairs.
Fifteen minutes later, Bonnie stormed out of the room, face flushed. She stood at the top of the stairs, shouting toward the door, "Derek Lee, you bastard! From this day on, we're enemies!"
Silence upstairs for two seconds, then came the slow, steady sound of footsteps.
Bonnie's eyelid twitched. Before he could reach her, she bolted down the stairs.
