He stood in the living room in silence for a few seconds. Then, with a flick of his slender fingers, he opened his contact list, found Ray Brook's number, and hit dial.
A deep, magnetic voice came through the receiver. "What's up?"
Derek tilted his chin slightly. With one hand, he loosened the top button of his shirt and replied coolly, "Your entertainment company's doing pretty well these days."
Ray sounded intrigued. "Not bad. Why?"
"Leak a few celebrity scandals. The messier, the better."
Ray nearly choked on the cigarette in his mouth. He coughed and let out a stunned laugh. "Come again?"
Derek didn't even glance up. "Cheating, affairs, domestic violence, anything goes, as long as the names are big enough."
Inside the club, Ray uncrossed his legs, stubbed out the cigarette, and let out a low chuckle. "Are you crazy, or am I? That kind of stuff's radioactive. Touch it, and you'll get burned."
