Chapter 106 - I will never let her go

Just as Sabina stepped into the second stage, all the lights in the filming area went out at once. In an instant, darkness swallowed the entire set.

Chaos erupted.

The director shot to his feet. "What the hell happened? Why are the lights off?!"

Staff scrambled to turn on their phones, fumbling with flashlights, their faces pale and confused.

No one could figure it out. The emergency lighting hadn't kicked in, and the blackout happened during a live broadcast. This wasn't just a technical glitch, it was a disaster.

Viewers stared at the pitch-black screen in confusion, trying to make sense of the sudden silence. Nothing like this had ever happened before.

The venue had cost a fortune to build. It was enormous and fully enclosed, designed with a maze of hidden mechanisms to enhance the show's dramatic flair. But in complete darkness, those features became hazards. No one dared to move.
