"Auntie, can you please calm down? You're shaking so much that you're making my hand tremble too. Anyone watching would think I'm the one who's scared. But I'm not, really. Don't worry, we're not going to die. This bad guy won't do anything to us for now," Dean muttered impatiently once they entered the elevator.
Kate's voice quivered. "You silly boy, what do you know? One wrong move and we'll be reporting to the Death tonight! I don't want to die yet. I haven't even gotten married or had kids! You're still young; you don't understand what death means. I'm terrified!"
Dean snorted. "Who doesn't want to live? No one wants to die, Auntie. But being scared won't help. He's taking us as hostages, that's all, he'll use us to force Dad and the police to release Great-Aunt Susie and the others downstairs. As long as we cooperate, he won't hurt us. Trust me."
