Chapter 241 - Chapter 241: The Economics of Cheap Tooth-Replacement Potions

Regulus Black first presented five Horcruxes made by the Dark Lord. Later, Lucius Malfoy revealed further information about him. These acts of betrayal alone were enough for the Dark Lord to cast the Killing Curse on him.

Gripped by fear, Lucius Malfoy found himself increasingly inclined to seek Regulus's help.

"What should we do from now on?"

Even now, Lucius still hadn't asked Regulus to help remove his Dark Mark. Clearly, he couldn't fully trust him yet.

However, Regulus Black didn't force the issue either. Regardless of Lucius's decision, Regulus had contingency plans in place.

After waiting a while, Regulus asked the couple to remove their rings.

As expected, once they took them off, the Malfoys only remembered asking what to do next. They had absolutely no recollection of what had just happened.

"What should we do from now on?"

Lucius repeated the question.

"Anything going on tonight?"

Regulus recalled from the original story that a group of Death Eaters had caused chaos in their residential area that night, though no one was injured.

However, young Barty Crouch did show off a spell that summoned the Dark Mark, which sent everyone into a panic.

"There's really nothing going on tonight. If any former Death Eater does something outrageous, they'll be arrested by the Aurors."

Lucius Malfoy seemed to be telling the truth. Did that mean Regulus Black would have to be the one to plan tonight's chaos himself?

"I see. Well, if something were to happen tonight, then after the Dark Lord returns, you'd have a perfect excuse. After all, it would show you really missed him while he was gone, wouldn't it?"

Regulus muttered sarcastically as he contemplated the things he was hoping to get his hands on that evening.

"If that's the case, I can reach out to a few people. As long as no one gets hurt, we could pull off a harmless bit of mischief."

Lucius didn't quite understand what Regulus was plotting, but he could see the benefits. As long as they weren't caught by Aurors, it would be fine to mess around a little. And if they were caught, they could always claim it was drunken foolery.

With a casual wave of his hand, Lucius made the decision.

Hearing this, Regulus couldn't help but feel like he was the one steering the narrative.

"Be careful not to give the Aurors anything they can use against you," Regulus warned as he politely saw the couple off.

Just then, Sarah Midani had returned, along with tour guide Draco and the girls who had followed—Hermione and Ginny.

Thankfully, this wasn't the Hogwarts Express. Otherwise, all the girls who admired Regulus Black and had finally received his acknowledgment would have crowded the yacht tent.

"Little Draco and Mr. Black, we'll take our leave now and head back to our tent," Lucius said, holding out an arm to stop his son, who still wanted to go inside. After all, those women were dear to Regulus, and it wouldn't be proper for his son to interfere.

Draco Malfoy had been hoping to enjoy the sun and sea breeze a little longer, but he couldn't refuse his father. Reluctantly, he bid farewell and left, and Regulus didn't try to stop him either.

In the West, people weren't into that kind of polite insistence. Cultural differences—just cultural differences.

"Regulus, I really think it's better if wizards stay separate from Muggles. If they were together, Muggles would all lose their jobs."

Out of nowhere, Hermione turned around and complained the moment she stepped into the tent.

"What happened? Did you notice a major disparity between wizards and Muggles?"

Regulus had a pretty good guess—Hermione had clearly taken a hit.

"We're both at the age when our teeth are changing. When I stayed at Hermione's place, she suggested I visit Mr. Granger's dental clinic. But I had a potion my mum gave me. After taking it, all my baby teeth fell out within two weeks, and I grew a perfect new set. Mr. Granger even said they were the best teeth he'd ever seen."

Ginny Weasley spoke methodically, then turned to look at her companion beside her.

"Hermione thinks that if everyone were like this, dentists would be out of work, so she got inexplicably upset about it."

Ginny Weasley shrugged, indicating she hadn't expected Hermione to react so strongly.

Regulus Black recalled that wizards typically used potions to replace teeth for their underage children.

This was a potion that promoted tooth growth, resulting in a beautiful set of teeth. The ingredients were inexpensive, even cheap, and the recipe was simple enough that even Hogwarts considered it unnecessary to teach.

A potion recipe that could be understood just by reading the instructions naturally didn't warrant wasting study time.

"Indeed, this potion is very cheap. If it were introduced to Muggles, all dentists would lose their jobs. So, Hermione, you see, wizards really should be separated from Muggles. It's not about wizards enjoying privileges, but about protecting Muggles. Isn't that what the Ministry of Magic has always preached?"

Regulus Black didn't want such a change to cause economic disruption. If everyone were the same, what would make wizards special?

However, understanding these things couldn't come from others' persuasion; one had to realize it themselves.

Hermione entered a guest room, slipped under the blankets, and pulled them over her head, clearly not wanting to talk to anyone.

"Then, Hermione, rest well. We'll come get you before the Quidditch match starts tonight."

Regulus Black closed the door, allowing Hermione to rest properly.

"Ginny! Tell me about your holiday. Did you miss me?"

Regulus Black playfully cornered Ginny in the hallway with a mock wall-slam. These young girls were still too young, and even with someone as familiar as Hermione, it was just hugging while sleeping. Regulus Black had never crossed the line he set for himself, which made all the girls see him as a true gentleman.

"I thought about you every day. In my dreams, you were even naughtier than you are now."

Ginny Weasley revealed a secret from her heart, something she hadn't even shared with a close friend like Hermione.

With her eyes closed, Ginny shyly lifted her head, reached out to wrap her arms around Regulus Black's neck, and offered her first kiss.

Under Regulus Black's guidance, this first kiss was gentle and warm, like a small animal nuzzling softly.

"Hehe!"

Ginny suddenly became shy, happily breaking free from Regulus Black's embrace and heading toward the bow of the ship.

"Molly Weasley would kill me! And who knows, the future Harry Potter would probably kill me too."

Regulus Black had no regrets. As a male transmigrator, how could one claim a successful transmigration without taking the women of the protagonist and supporting characters? Being a loser before transmigration and remaining one after—what's the point if that's the case?

The entire afternoon, Regulus Black spent with Sarah and Ginny, the two young girls, discussing studies, talking about life and ideals, eating snacks, drinking beverages, and telling jokes. Time passed quickly.

"I'll go wake Hermione, and then we'll head to the stands together. We still have some time."

Leaving the two girls, Regulus Black went to the room where Hermione was sleeping.

He still had many things to handle, and this girl had given him such a challenge. Couldn't they just have fun?

In a few hours, Hermione had slept so deeply she forgot everything, even refusing to get up. She forgot they were there to watch Quidditch. Only when her body suddenly reacted strangely did Hermione sense something was off.

The silver threads of a "Patronus Charm" extended into the blankets, slipping into her clothes and even entering her body.

Then, these threads began to pulse, moving in a rhythmic pattern like a function, treating Hermione's body as an instrument and playing a soulful melody.

In the end, Hermione drank a strengthening potion and tidied herself up before emerging. The room was filled with a peculiar scent, a tangible embodiment of vitality. When the two girls arrived, Regulus Black cast a "Scourgify" to erase all traces.
