Chapter 7 - #7

The Captain Commander's face was as gloomy as stagnant water!

"Urahara Kisuke..."

"Shiba Isshin..."

"Shihouin Yoruichi..."

As he mentioned each name, the Captain Commander's attitude was clearly not very friendly.

Among them, besides a hint of hostility, there was more disappointment and regret!

After all...

The trio in the image were, without exception, talents he had highly regarded.

It was just a pity that they all ultimately betrayed Soul Society!

His white eyebrows drooped like willow branches.

The Captain Commander raised his eyes, and with an impeccable seriousness, asked, "Chōjirō, do you think the images displayed on the screen, from just now until now, are real?"

First, Urahara Kisuke fought alone against an Arrancar.

Now, the trio appeared together, facing an unknown, powerful enemy.

The scenes in the inventory video were full of strangeness!

"Well... it's hard to say!"

Chōjirō Sasakibe shook his head, hesitating, "Although I instinctively believe that the scenes in the video have been edited and fabricated."

"But!"

"Spiritual pressure perception doesn't lie! Especially that immersive feeling, it's very difficult to fake! All signs indicate that these combat scenes should be real!"

Chōjirō Sasakibe was drenched in sweat.

Every syllable revealed deep unease.

In the inventory video, each time the scene switched, the background was, without exception, tall buildings.

This meant the battle likely took place in the Human World!

But...

Chōjirō Sasakibe did not remember any Menos Grande invasions occurring in the Human World in recent years, let alone Adjuchas-level Menos Grande, and rare Arrancar at that!

Taking a step back,

If the entire inventory video was indeed Urahara Kisuke's work, then what was his meticulously planned purpose for editing the video?

And the real spiritual pressure perception brought by the images, that vivid spiritual pressure oppression, how could it be explained?

For a moment, the old Westerner's mind was filled with too many doubts.

His head was almost a muddled mess!

Rubbing his chin, the Captain Commander slowly nodded, agreeing, "Chōjirō, you are right. My first reaction was similar to yours..."

"Sight, hearing, and touch can all be deceived."

"Only spiritual pressure perception contains no falsehood!"

The Captain Commander's torch-like gaze was fixed on the screen, and he said in a deep voice, "It seems Urahara Kisuke and his companions once encountered a formidable enemy, and the battle in the image should be real!"

"Captain Commander, what should we do now?"

Chōjirō Sasakibe asked, completely at a loss.

It was his first time encountering such a strange situation, and for a moment, he had no idea how to respond.

"Contact the Technology Development Bureau while we continue to watch!"

The Captain Commander replied without hesitation.

If he had initially scoffed at the so-called "strongest rankings," even considering shattering the screen, now...

The old man's curiosity was completely piqued.

On one hand, he wanted to understand the origin of the inventory video.

And on the other hand,

The Captain Commander was more concerned about the enemy Urahara Kisuke and his companions faced—who exactly was that unknown powerhouse radiating such immense pressure?

"Yes! I'll contact Mayuri Captain immediately!"

Chōjirō Sasakibe responded, then hurried out of the squad office, leaving the Captain Commander to watch the inventory video alone.

The atmosphere in the room consequently became heavy.

----

The scene shifted.

Inside Las Noches.

"What the hell! Did that fight just end like that? It's so annoying, no beginning or end!" Grimmjow sat astride the steps, complaining with a disgruntled look.

The first scene, the battle between Yammy and Urahara Kisuke, concluded with Benihime's sword pressure explosion.

The Espada had expected a continuation, but instead, it directly switched to another scene!

"Pay attention, this Shinigami wearing a fisherman's hat has appeared again!" Zommari Rureaux, the Seventh Espada, deliberately reminded them.

"He must be Urahara Kisuke, right?" The Fifth Espada, Nnoitra, scoffed coldly, "How can a weakling like him rank among the top fifteen?"

Santa Teresa was very displeased!

He looked down on Urahara Kisuke from the bottom of his heart!

One must know that Nnoitra's personality was arrogant and conceited.

He genuinely believed himself to be the strongest among the Espada.

Although Urahara Kisuke had forcefully suppressed Yammy in the previous scene, in Nnoitra's view, this was not enough to prove the shopkeeper's strength; it was purely because Yammy was too weak!

"I think so too..." Grimmjow chimed in, "Shinigami are all trash. If even they can make the list, then I should be in the top ten, right?"

The Panther King grinned maliciously, revealing a confident smile.

As a fellow battle maniac, his arrogance surpassed Nnoitra's.

Grimmjow confidently believed that he could definitely rank among the top ten on the inventory list!

Just then, the video played again!

"Swish--"

With sword pressure leading the way, the unknown enemy, radiating powerful spiritual pressure, slowly emerged from the thick mist in the air opposite the shopkeeper's trio.

White, bone-like skin completely enveloped his body, making him look like a silkworm pupa in its cradle stage, with only a pair of azure blue eyes visible!

This bizarre, neither-human-nor-ghost appearance immediately made every Arrancar present look sideways!

"Huh?!"

Watching the mysterious, silkworm-like figure, the usually unruly Espada uncharacteristically fell silent at the same time.

For some reason, when staring at those narrow eyes emitting an azure glow, the powerful Espada almost simultaneously felt an urge to prostrate themselves in worship!

"What is going on?! Who exactly is this guy?!"

After a brief silence, there was an uproar.

The faces of the Espada and their Fracción changed repeatedly.

The longer they stared, the stronger the feeling of prostration became.

It was a spiritual pressure originating from the soul, even from the very essence of life!

"So scary! I feel like my blood is about to stop!" Sun-Sun, Halibel's Fracción, trembled uncontrollably, her face pale as she curled into a ball.

"What terrifying oppression! This monster's power must have surpassed that of a Vasto Lorde, right?" another Fracción said, trembling.

One must know that there were currently four Vasto Lorde in the inner palace, which were the top four ranked Espada!

But...

The aura they emitted, even at their full power after Resurrección, would at most only cause a feeling of suffocation, not the sensation of one's soul being on the verge of shattering.

But now?

The silkworm-like figure that appeared in the video, just standing there, unmoving, emitted a terrifying spiritual pressure that seemed to crush the sky.

His spiritual pressure intensity seemed about to enter another dimension!

Among the crowd, even the most arrogant Skull Emperor Baraggan, despite the Fracción's exclamations, wore a troubled expression.

Squinting his eyes, Baraggan's expression was grave.

Let alone the Fracción, even he, a powerhouse, felt a fatal oppression at this moment!
