Hi everyone, it's Zaelum, the event will start Saturday! Now I will tell you how to participate on it so you can choose which fanfic you want to be translated!
This time there will be 2 challengers! A Naruto and a Bleach fanfic, both I check them and they both looks promising.
The event consist on 3 rounds of challenges:
1: The Likes Round: If the post gets 100 likes it will earn a point (Both can win that point) (Will start Saturday) (This is in Patreon)
2: The Power Stones Round: If the fanfic gets 1500 Power Stones in Webnovel gets a point! (Both can win that point) (Will start Sunday)
3: The Reviews Round: If the fanfic gets 50 reviews on Webnovel it will get a point! (Both can win that point) (Will start Sunday)
Now what would happen if both reach the 3 points? I will pick both!
The true both are fun so I kinda don't care if both win, hahaha. So if you want, try to make me pick both by doing the event.
Also as bonus... if any of the fics get into the top 10 in Webnovel I will make it a double chapter schedule for that fic!
Anyway, I thought it was going to be fun to do an event where you all get to participate, and if the events its succesful I may do more of them, for more new fics or for currents ones.
Thanks you all for reading this, and I will see you later!
Ciao!
==========
That feeling—of being outpaced and overwhelmed—was something very familiar to the original Sasuke.
During the Chūnin Exams, the so-called dead-last Naruto grew increasingly dazzling, even managing to summon the Great Toad and defeat a monsterized Gaara in one shot.
That moment left Sasuke, who had just barely learned Raiton: Chidori, absolutely stunned.
Later, in missions, despite bearing the name of Uchiha, Sasuke contributed little, while Naruto only became stronger and stronger. Already weighed down by his clan's blood feud and consumed by the desire to kill Itachi, Sasuke's pride couldn't tolerate Naruto surpassing him. Eventually, it all exploded into that infamous rooftop clash at the hospital.
Back then, Team 7's dynamic looked something like:
"NARUTO!" "SASUKE!" "STOP! DON'T FIGHT!"
Yeah… there was no dramatic thunderstorm that time, but Sasuke's inner turmoil was thunderous enough. The anxiety of a "genius" being outshone and left behind by a so-called loser—it was real. So his defection to Orochimaru eventually felt almost inevitable.
TenTen's current mindset mirrored that, though hers came from a different place.
She wasn't trying to outdo a rival. She cared deeply about someone—her boyfriend—and wanted to stay by his side, not be left in the dust.
Natsuki realized this and wasn't anxious at all. Instead, he gently ruffled TenTen's hair, speaking with a soft smile, "So you finally told me. I've been waiting. You think I've only been working hard to repay Shino? Nah. I've been thinking of how to help my adorable girl too."
TenTen's eyes lit up. "That means… you really have a way to help me get stronger? Natsuki! Tell me quick!"
"Calm down and listen carefully." Natsuki chuckled. "I've mastered lightning chakra nature transformation. And I've discovered that if you can precisely control lightning to stimulate the body, you can activate cells continuously…"
Lightning was a mysterious power.
There was a reason cultivators in xianxia novels were always struck by lightning during tribulation—it wasn't just for dramatic effect.
Lightning, though powerful and dangerous, could stimulate the body, making it stronger and boosting its regenerative capacity. In scientific terms, it activated cells, enhancing their performance and speeding up metabolism, naturally strengthening the body.
After realizing this, Natsuki conducted several self-experiments in the special lab. It was painful. Excruciating, even. But, in a twisted way, also "exhilarating."
Thankfully, he eventually pinpointed the exact intensity needed to activate cells without damaging them.
And now, with TenTen at a bottleneck, too young for high-intensity training, this method was perfect.
Natsuki wasn't worried about mishaps either. With his precision chakra control, even if something went wrong, it wouldn't be fatal. Plus, he had Senzu Beans as backup—he could go all out.
"Natsuki Natsuki! Come on, hit me with it already!" TenTen urged.
"Don't say stuff that sounds so misleading!"
Natsuki looked like he was about to cry. If her dad overheard that, he'd probably get murdered on the spot.
Meanwhile, in the main bedroom not far from them, the shopkeeper's face had gone completely black. He heard every single word—after all, the house wasn't big and the walls weren't soundproof. The night was quiet, and TenTen had unknowingly raised her voice…
Thankfully, he knew Natsuki was helping her train—not doing anything improper.
Otherwise, that rolling pin would've been in his hands already.
Back in the room, Natsuki had TenTen sit down and took her hands, instructing gently, "Don't resist. I'll send lightning into your body through your hands to stimulate your cells. Since you also have the lightning attribute, try to feel it carefully. I'll do this once a month for you. By the time you graduate, you should be able to control it yourself."
TenTen nodded, closed her eyes, and prepared herself.
Natsuki focused fully, channeling his chakra into pure lightning and sending it precisely into her body.
If he had the Byakugan, this would be even easier. But with prior self-testing and basic knowledge of human anatomy, it wasn't difficult to avoid danger.
As the current entered her, a tingling, numbing sensation mixed with slight pain washed over her. Sweat beaded on TenTen's forehead.
But she didn't make a sound—she gritted her teeth and endured.
After what felt like forever, it was over. TenTen was drenched in sweat, but she didn't feel tired at all. Instead, she felt her body bursting with energy. Her previously stagnant chakra started rising—visibly.
She was elated.
"Natsuki, thank you!"
Then, acting on instinct, she gently cupped his face and shyly kissed him on the cheek.
Natsuki touched his cool cheek, eyes filled with surprise and joy. "TenTen… let's be together."
TenTen giggled. "And why should I be with you? You have to say it properly."
Natsuki felt a little hot in the face, but spoke firmly, "Because I like you. I want to be with you. I want us to be a couple."
TenTen, satisfied, blushed again and gave him another peck. "I like you too, Natsuki. So… I accept!"
Natsuki was thrilled and immediately got cheeky. "You kissed me. Now it's my turn!"
"Heehee, no way! Try anything, and I'll tell my dad!"
"Your dad's already my father-in-law now…"
In the master bedroom, the shopkeeper finally broke into a smile.
But it didn't last long—his face darkened again. These two were getting way too loud. Were they not even trying to hide it anymore!?
So bold!
No, this brat better make a huge feast tomorrow to earn redemption!
Meanwhile, TenTen didn't go back to her room. She casually lay down right next to Natsuki and went straight to sleep. They were still kids—snuggling didn't mean anything serious.
As for whether kids this age could be in a real relationship...
Once, a four-year-old boy kissed a four-year-old girl. The girl asked, "Will you take responsibility?" The boy answered confidently, "Of course! We're not three anymore!"
It was a joke… but in this world, many would take it seriously.
After all, kids here were far too mature.
Uchiha Itachi was already on the battlefield at four. Now Natsuki was almost seven and TenTen almost eight—if they wanted to date, no one was going to stop them.
—The next morning—
Natsuki gave TenTen another lightning treatment.
Then, holding hands in broad daylight and facing the shopkeeper's blackened expression, they headed off to school—completely shameless.
They didn't expect to run into Shino right at the school gate.
Shino saw their joined hands, and his sunglasses gleamed. "Congratulations."
Natsuki thanked him sincerely. "Shino, thank you for everything you've done."
TenTen chimed in happily, "Shino, the pumpkin flower tempura was delicious, and the pumpkin vine soup was amazing! Does your family have more? Natsuki and I are cooking again tonight—you should come eat with us."
Shino didn't refuse, but replied calmly, "My mom made the same dishes last night. We used up all our pumpkin vines and flowers. I'll need to borrow some from the neighbors."
