When Tristan finally figured out a way to get Ariel to see his true feelings for her. It was so simple that he wanted to smack his own forehead for not thinking of it sooner. After all it was a tried and tested method that most people around the world employed in order to get a successful relationship.
What he needed to do to get Ariel to see that he liked her for real was to date her. Dating his own wife, now that was something else.
Tristan was all for the idea. How could he not be? It was a great idea, even if he did say so himself.
What was not so great about it however was how he was planning on introducing it to Ariel. Had the two of them been a regular couple who had followed the good old fashioned steps of meeting, dating, getting engaged and then married. Suggesting date nights would not have been a problem.
