"Expelliarmus!"
I point my finger at the wall in front of me and watch as a red light comes out of my finger. It did not take long for me to learn all the spells from the books I bought. Harry Potter world's magic is easy to use and master.
The spell is based on Will and Imagination. The chant and wand movement is something that helps any wizards and witches focus on the result of the spell. As a Planeswalker, I don't need to worry about them because my mind and will are something that no mortal can compare.
As for the wand… Well… As a planeswalker, I am a master of mana. I don't need a wand to help me control my mana.
Combining all of these with my ability to sense and read the laws of this world's magic and sense the intent of each spell, I can learn a spell in seconds and master it in a minute.
With the spells done, I need to construct a wand. I already analyzed the wand Rob prepared for me, and I know how to construct a new one. A new and better wand that can cast all spells from across the Multiverse.
With a deep breath, I start to call upon the power of the Multiverse. At the moment, I am not the master of my power, but calling upon the power of the Multiverse is something all Pre-Mending Planeswaker can do.
Reality bends and breaks under my command to create my first artifact, A wand that will help me in my journey through the Blind Eternities.
I tap into the record of this plane and get all the knowledge I need to make an ultimate wand. I project the knowledge of a tree in the middle of the void. It is a tree that grows on the border of time and existence, where cause and effect loop endlessly.
This is Yggdrasil, the Tree that connects reality and the unreality. It is different from the one in the Nordic Pantheon, for this tree is the pillar of this plane.
I force my power to create a branch of that tree into reality as my base of wand.
I release a sigh and smile a little at the sight of the branch in my hand. I put the tree branch on the table and closed my eyes once again. To make the best wand, I need the best cores. With how powerful the base for my wand is, I can take multiple cores into my wand.
I dig deeper and search for the cores that resonate with me. After searching through Akasha's record, I found what I needed.
I use my power to create an essence of birth from the first Phoenix this plane ever witnessed and turn it into a crystal. Something appears in my hand, but I will ignore it for now. I continue gathering material; this time, I focus on the strongest metal in this plane of existence. It is a metal born from the womb of a star. It is so strong that only a supernova can melt it. Another thug can be heard, but I will ignore it for now. I pulled one last item from this plane; this time, it was a raw Aether of the Blind Eternities. I condense it and turn it into a crystal.
When I am done, I release a tired sigh because that takes a lot out of me. I rest for a few minutes before I take all the materials and put them on my lap.
I focus my power on the materials in front of me and shape them into the artifacts I want. I take a lot out of myself to shape and combine the materials in front of me. After a few minutes and a lot of effort, I release a tired sigh and smile a little at the wand in front of me.
"I name you Aetherius, the Wand of Infinite Threads. You shall accompany me through the Blind Eternities."
I can feel the warm feeling coursing through the wand. I also feel the connection between the two of us.
This wand is not like any wand in this plane. Aetherius is a semi-sentient artifact that can tap into the land I visit and store the mana it absorbs from the land into its body. It can store a lot of mana, but there is a limit.
Aetherius can use the mana it stores to protect me from ambush. Also, with the mana stored inside the wand, it can passively increase the potency of the spells that I cast through it, or I can actively use the mana stored inside to give a massive boost to all the spells I cast.
That is not the only thing Aetherius can do. It is also an anchor that lets me do an emergency jump directly to this plane when I encounter something dangerous and need to run away.
Because of its semi-sentient state, it will remember all the spells I cast and let me cast a spell multiple times in a single cast. Not only that, Aetherius can also adapt to any magic system I will encounter in my journey so that I can cast spells from any world without a problem.
Lastly, Aetherius' semi-sentient state lets me know if anyone tells a lie in my presence. It is a wand that sees through the soul and knows when someone lies or tells a half-truth.
The last ability Aetherius has is the connection between it and time. What does this mean? Well, it can create a loop in any spells I cast. What does that mean? Take this as an example: I cast Expelliarmus to disarm someone. If Aetherius uses a normal wand, my opponent can get their wand back or take their backup wand. However, because of Aetherius' unique power, my spell enters a loop, preventing my opponent from getting any wand into his hand. All wands my opponent tries to take will be thrown away because of the loop effect.
It is different from my [Infinity] power but has similarities.
Aetherius is a long and elegant—13¾ inches wand. The surface of the wand is as dark as night, but the rune carved on the wand makes it look like stars in the night sky. The base of the wand is made of metal that looks like gold, but it is not. On the metal, there is another engraving of runes, but this formation of runes creates the shape of an infinity symbol.
All in all, it is a worthy artifact for me. Hell, I have a feeling that Gilgamesh is more than willing to put this wand inside his Gate of Babylon.
I shake my head and stand up. I want to explore once again while waiting for Albus Dumbledore's reply to my letter.
