Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 3

AUTHOR'S POV

The whole Shekhawat villa was in a chaos when they heard that the eldest Shekhawat, Neel Singh Shekhawat was admitted in the hospital because of heart attack, they all panicked and worried.

They love him more than anything and immediately made a visit him and got relieved that he is now in a good condition but their worry gree more when they got to know that their eldest son, Viraaj Singh Shekhawat was coming back from states when he got to know about this grandfather.

He was out of the country for few weeks and they didn't told him about his grandfather because he will come in an instant despite knowing that the weather is unwell there and all the flights are cancelled due to a storm.

"Mumma, sit na. You will get sick if you will take stress" said the youngest daughters of Shekhawat, Ruhi Singh Shekhawat to her mother, who was strolling here and there, panicking about her son who was coming back.

"Gudiya is right, Anya. Please relax" said her husband, Yuvraaj Singh Shekhawat, the eldest son of Neel to her wife Shivanya Singh Shekhawat.

Yuvraaj walked towards her and held her shoulders, then made her sit on the couch before handing her a glass of water which was brought by a maid

"Relax, please" he whispered and kissed her forehead, who was now a bit relaxed but can't help her worry about her son.

"Isiliye nahi batana chah rhe the hum unko" she said and kept the glass back on the table.

"Bhabhi, please don't worry. I am sure he will be fine" said the second daughter-in-law of Shekhawat villa, Aastha Singh Shekhawat...wife of Atharva Singh Shekhawat, second son of Neel. She stood behind her and rubbed her back to help her calm down.

"Haan, bhabhi maa. Please relax" said Atharva to her Sister-in-law and kneeled infront of her, beside his brother, he had immense respect and love for her, just like a son would feel for his mother.

Shivanya nodded her head and made both of the man to sit on the couch and looked at the door with hopeful eyes.

"Dadda, neither Vihu is answering the call nor Avi Bhai" Ruhanika Singh Shekhawat, the daughter of Atharva and Aastha, told him.

Second youngest child Vihaan Singh Shekhawat and second eldest child Aviraaj Singh Shekhawat, had gone to airport to pick up their brother.

"They might be busy, tr--" Yuvraaj was interrupted by ringing of doorbell. They all stood up immediately and a maid went to open the door.

There stood both of the sons with their elder brother. Their faces were casted with tensed look and they entered inside with the driver behind them carrying the bags of Viraaj.

"Where is Raaj?? Aapke sath nahi aaye woh??" Asked shivanya to both of them

"He was very angry and as soon as he landed, woh dada ji se milne chale gaye without meeting us" Aviraaj informed her who sighed in relief that her son is safe but got worried when they told her that he is angry.

Viraaj don't get angry easily, he deals with the situation calmly and quietly but when he gets angry no one wants to come infront of him. His anger is worse than anything.

"Yuvi, let's go to the hospital. I don't know how Mummy ji will be handling him all alone" she said to her husband worried about her mother-in-law, Ishmita Singh Shekhawat, who was in the hospital with her husband.

Yuvraaj nodded and As the members of the family piled into their cars, they were followed by a trail of security personnel ensuring their safe passage to the heavily secured hospital. The atmosphere was tense with worry and anxiety as they finally arrived at the hospital, the building surrounded by security guards and high-tech surveillance systems to ensure Neel's safety.

They walked towards his room and entered inside hoping to find calm Viraaj and their wish was granted, when they entered they saw viraaj sitting beside his grandfather who was asleep holding his hand, while his back was facing the door and Ishmita was sitting on the another side looking both of them with a smile.

When they heard some sound from behind them, and viraaj turned around to see all of his family members standing on the door step. He stood up when he saw his mother coming towards him with tears in her eyes, she held his face when she reached near him, relieved that her son was infront of her safe and sound after three weeks.

"Kaise hai aap, raaj??" She asked still holding his face in her hands who smiled a little when he saw her mother worried for him

"I am good, maa" he said and knelt down before her to touch her feet, everyone smiled and looked at the tender moment between mother and son with admiring gaze.

They knew that if Viraaj, infamous for his cold and aloof demeanor, was willing to kneel before someone, it had to be his mother - the one woman he respected and loved above all else..

"Why do you have to come in bad weather??" She complained and hit his chest with her little fists.

"What would I have done, when you didn't told.me.about dadu" he said and glared at his siblings for not informing him About the whereabouts of the family, who hide behind their dad's back, except Aviraaj who looked at him with apologizing gaze. To Aviraaj, his brother was not just a sibling but also a mentor, someone he looked up to and felt immense pride in being related to. He valued his brother's wisdom and guidance, and he would not tolerate anything that could potentially harm him or compromise his well-being. Aviraaj was fiercely protective of his brother and would do anything to ensure his safety and success.

He looked back at her who was looking apologetic,

"Toh kya karte, raaj. Waha ka weather theek nahi tha aur saari flights cancel thi..aur hume pata tha ki agr aapko pata chala toh aap jarur aayenge, isliye nhi bataya" said Yuvraaj before coming towards his wife and standing beside her, he wrapped one hand around her.

"Dad" viraaj sighed and hugged his father before going towards the family members.

He hugged Atharva and Aastha, then moved towards his siblings who were standing at the corner with their head looking down.

He stood infront of them, hands in his pocket looking as intimidating as he is which made them scared that he cill scold them.

"Won't you hug me??" Viraaj said and smirked when she saw their shocked face, not believing that their brother was asking them to hug him for the first time.

They all smiled and jumped on him which caused him to stumble backwards a little and his lips curled into a little smile.

"Sorry, Bhai" they all said in union, viraaj hummed and broke the hug.

"Next time, make sure that you won't repeat this mistake" he said and all nodded their head.

"Promise, Dada" Ruhi said with a wide grin on her face, viraaj nodded and kissed her forehead. Ruhi, has a special place in his heart. She was adopted when she was 4 and Viraaj was the first person who was able to make her laugh and make her eat after a very long time. For him, Ruhi is more like his daughter then sister.

Then they all left after they made sure that Neel is good and this time they forced Ishmita to come with them and do some rest except Viraaj who wanted to stay with his grandfather.

After everyone returned to the Shekhawat villa, viraaj called Neel's guard, Adhwik and asked him what happened. Then he told Viraaj all the things happened that day, every single detail.

"You know that girl??" Viraaj asked, looking outside the window

"No, but next day she came her with her grandfather, for his checkup and met sir, who was waiting for her. Then they all talked for quite a long time. That day Vihaan sir was present here." The Adhwik and left when viraaj nodded his head.

He sighed and walked near his dadu, held his right hand and kept looking at him who was sleeping due to th effect of medicines. He also talked to the doctor and doctor informed him that nothing is serious but he should care of him and not let him take any stress.

Later that day, viraaj was in his study that was beside his room reading some documents. His study room is designed in a modern, minimalist style with sleek lines and monochrome tones. The walls are painted in a matt taupe, and the flooring is made of dark hardwood. A large oak desk sits at the center of the room, flanked by floor-to-ceiling bookshelves filled with a variety of books and documents. A comfortable leather armchair and desk chair provide seating for him whenever he wish to sit and read. Large windows line one wall, flooding the room with natural light.

His attention was disturbed by a knock on the door, he asked the person to come in and saw it was Vihaan

"Bhai, aapne bulaya ??" He asked viraaj who nodded his head and gestured him to sit.

"Who was the girl that saved dadu??" Viraaj asked him, leaning against his chair.

"She is a sweet girl, bhai. She even to came the next day to meet dada ji with flowers and fruits. She came with her dadu and it turns out that her dadu and our dad's ji were bestfriend, who met after a long time. And you know the shocking part" vihaan said excitedly leaning against the table on his elbows

Viraaj raised his eyebrow eager to know that exciting part,

"Dada ji, asked her to call him dadu. He don't even let us call him that except you and he personally asked her." Vihaan said and viraaj slightly widened his eyes.

It was really a shocking news because Neel never let anyone call him Dadu except Viraaj and he asked that girl to call him Dadu.

Viraaj soon turned normal and nodded his head, nothing to ask his dadu later. He then asked vihaan about his studies and internship.
