"what the fuck?"
As the sharp winds of the shockwave brushed across the students, one excalimed utterly marveled by the feat they had just witnessed.
With the exception of few, most didn't think much of Art and presumed him to be a noble whom had only gotten a job in the academy because of his connection so the shock on their faces as they watched him not only dodged an attack so fast they couldn't see and deliver a kick so strong it produces a shockwave that sent a veteran Professor of their academy flying was anything but bewilderment.
For a moment their breathing cease, their pupil's diluting in shock as Grim spinning around in the air suddenly moved her right hand, sending it foward only to launch the dagger nested in said hand down at Art.
The blonde young man burning with a fighting spirit like no other, moved with anticipating, his spahhire eye's flickering with pale light as tracing the path of the dagger and brought his sword infornt of the pathway to guard against it.
Making contact with the wooden surface of the sword, it almost pierced through it only for Art to redirect it in time and letting the grass ground suffer the rest of the piercing.
While all of this happened, Grim still in midair, enfused her remaining dagger with her aura, a sinister green then enveloped the tip of the weapon as it launched at Art with a tremendous burst of strength.
"Tsk!"
Clicking his tougue, Art not confident he could block that wouldn't losing his sword, leaped to the left just in time for the dagger to crash into his now empty spot and....
BOOM!!!!
What followed was a mass eruption of land mass all caused by her throw hitting the grow.
"That's a fucking bombardment."
Bringing his hands infornt of him to avoid dust spraying on his face, Art complained, further distancing himself from the cloud of dust.
With how wide it had spread, Art couldn't see anything front of him and he was sure Grim had planned this, for that woman's strength laid in her cunning mind.
"She burst out the dust any momen..."
Cutting of his thought just in time, a potion or the dust obscuring his vision stired, tearing through the dust barrier infornt of him and shooting at him.
"I expected this."
Raising the wooden sword in his grip in retaliation, he pushed his left feet foward, his sword wrapped in ghostly pale aura flashing down with calculated precision and cleaving the incoming figure in half.
For a moment there was silence, followed by a blinding flash that slash through the figure and going even further towards the dust soon parting it as if he willed it.
"Ha..."
With his sword now touching the ground Art looked at the figure he had cleave only to be faced a horrifying reality as fragments of a cleaved wooden dagger poured onto the ground.
"Fuck."
Quickly shifting around, an arching pain rip through his gut, breaking his posture and reeling him back.
As his body registered the pain he looked up only to find a kick racing towards his face.
"Shit."
Dodging it in the nick of time by leaping back while clutching his chest, he saw Grim having landed on his previous spot crouched in a beastly manner, her arms parted and her finger curled as if seeking to rip him apart.
Seeing this, Art one's composured paled remiscant of a time where a lion had almost mauled him to death due to his carelessness at a zoo.
That primordial fear had followed him to this world and Grim her expression vicious and a stance beastly brought back those memories.
"She's too fast."
Stepping back in fear, his hands one's wielding the sword with confidence began to shake, for a moment he wondered if this was all worth it. He just wanted to test his strength while also revealing them to Grim but he had done that, he had show her all he had, there was nothing more so shouldn't he just gave up.
Thinking so he began to glance around at the student pale from the level of their exchange.
Some unconsciously step back think they could end up as causalities, other took out their phone recording the fight with anticipation and there was...her.
"Trish!"
Looking at the student whose deadpan expression had morphed into pure excitement, he couldn't help but smile a bit.
"This is a light spar." He told himself his fear diminishing a bit.
"It doesn't matter if I lose."
His wavering gaze grew sharp and focused.
"It doesn't matter if I get hurt."
Removing his hands clutching his arching stomach, he placed them also on the hilt.
"My goal is to nurture those brat..what role model will I be if I cowered now."
Unleashing the full force of his aura and wrapping them all around his body, he forgo Trish's strict swordsmanship to use one of his one.
His stance crumble making way for a worse one, one lacking in discipline and correctness. It was flawed but also fluid.
"This is how I want to die."
Losing himself to that thought for a moment he smiled. A death against an impossible opponent but at the last second the mentor at his lifeline will reach their own enlightenment and....
"Go out with a bang."
With an explosive launch, his body rapture, his bones cracked, his muscles stiffened and his nose bleed but he ranned...he ranned so much the ground unable to withstand his determination quaked and soon cracked.
"I like this."
For the first time since coming here he finally felt his own strength, not one built from cheat but one which this body had.
So with his heart pounding rapidly like chant, his bent his kneel, taking off in an explosive leap and rising his sword up high.
Overshadowing the very sun which blessed him with it's very glow, his sword burned with a golden light, intensifying and expanding into a blade of golden light.
An awesome chant erupted in the distance, as the students paid witness to their first awakening of intent and Grim sensing the genuine presence emitting from the golden blade descending on her looked up, a glimmer of newfound trust stirring within her.
"I guess i was wrong."
Nonchalant about everything happening, she infused her own aura, having birthed intent decades ago up, she then raised botth her hands;her intention to block the golden blade.
