Suddenly, multiple thick and sharp bone spears erupted from the surface of the ground, just about one meter away from Seimei, who was charging forward at full speed.
If he couldn't stop himself in time, he would definitely be impaled.
But Seimei had seen through it from miles away.

A few milliseconds later, Seimei reappeared in another location with a burst of thunder and gathered a large amount of Water Release chakra to his throat.
Water Release: Water Severing Wave
Seimei released a jet of highly compressed water from his mouth. The water jet was powerful enough to cut through reinforced steel like butter.
Although it wasn't as strong as Senju Tobirama's, whose Water Severing Wave could cut through thick stems of the God Tree, Seimei's current version was still powerful enough to slice through the thick bones of the Kaguya clan bastard in front of him.
On the other side, Katsuro felt a great sense of danger from the water jet that was approaching him at the speed of a bullet.
Usually, he would brush off most Water Release techniques. His bones were hard enough to withstand them.
But this wave of water released by Seimei sent a chill down his spine.
He wasted no time and dodged the wave like his life depended on it.
But before he could sigh in relief, another Water Severing Wave was launched at him.

He quickly retreated while weaving a hand seal before slamming the ground as hard as he could.
Shikotsumyaku: Bone Wall
A wall of white bones erupted from the ground. And this one was much thicker, harder, and sturdier than the previous bone wall he erected.
He couldn't take chances after all.
And as soon as the bone wall was formed, the jet of highly compressed water formed by the Water Severing Wave Jutsu slammed into it.
Fortunately for Katsuro, the extra-thick, reinforced bone wall managed to halt the momentum of the highly compressed water jet…for a moment.
Yup, just for a few milliseconds.
Because at the next moment, several cracks appeared on the bone wall. And at the blink of an eye, the bone wall shattered, and the water jet kept moving forward toward Katsuro.
Thanks to the extra few milliseconds, Katsuro managed to dodge the torrent of water and protect his body. But his right arm wasn't fortunate enough.

He looked toward Seimei's location with a gaze full of hatred, only to find the spot empty. Only a handful of small purple lightning arcs were still crackling in the spot where Seimei had been standing just a moment ago.
Where the fuck did he go?
Katsuro's mind raced as he tried to find Seimei as soon as possible.
Crackle! Crackle!
Soon, the sound of booming thunder came from above as a blade covered in dense lightning chakra and several snaking arcs of purple lightning bolts descended on him, targeting his head.
If the blade connected to his head, he would meet his demise.
But Kaguya Katsuro wasn't some random ninja.
He was an S-rank, close combat ninja with decades of battle experience. He had fought in countless battles, survived them, and honed his battle instincts to the extreme.
That was why, the moment he felt the lightning-charged blade coming, he retaliated instinctively without even looking above.
Shikotsumyaku: Bone Blade
A sharp and 4.5-centimeter-wide blade made of bone emerged from Katsuro's wrist and met Seimei's lightning-infused blade head-on.
