After Daniel's explanation, James visibly calmed down.
The Bateman family did indeed have the ability to control any situation. It could be said that once the Bateman family invested, James could really do nothing.
However, he was still a little unwilling.
"Even so, Chris can at least tell me in advance. It's embarrassing for me that he suddenly got involved."
James said as he picked up a glass of wine angrily and drank it.
Daniel shook his head helplessly. "I'll tell you one more thing. Maybe you'll feel proud."
"What?"
James was confused.
Daniel glanced at Christopher and said, "Do you know who the new program host is?"
"Who?"
Daniel said, "Chris' wife."
A trace of surprise flashed across James' face.
"Chris, how dumb are you? If you put your wife and girlfriend together, aren't you afraid of them fighting."
Christopher frowned slightly. "James, I do have a wife. But where did my ex-girlfriend come from?"
