Denise asked her question carefully.
Nathan had been drinking some tea, but when he heard Denise's question, his hand paused.
"You already know."
He put the tea cup down indifferently.
Denise was stunned. It turned out that he really knew about it.
But she didn't understand why he hadn't taken action.
After all, three years ago, when he learned that she was in a relationship with Christopher, Nathan had been ruthless and fired her from the company. But three years later, in the case of Janice Gladwell, who wasn't at all worthy of Christopher, Nathan didn't make any move.
Denise was both shocked and unhappy.
"So, you came here today to ask about this?" It seemed that he had guessed her thoughts.
Denise didn't deny and admitted it directly.
"That's right."
There was already some resentment in her heart.
Nathan seemed to have heard the unhappiness in her voice. He said, "What's wrong? Do you think I was unfair to you?"
