Janice wanted to ask her, "Are you very proud to hug my Hubby behind my back?"
Instead she asked, "So, why does Director Kelshore think that I have a problem with you? Have you done anything wrong?"
Denise was caught by surprise. She hadn't thought Janice would counter her question.
"You have been obviously avoiding me. Do you have a problem with me?"
Janice smiled and said, "Director Kelshore, you're over-imagining things. The TV station is not big. Do I have to talk to you every time we meet? In that case, we don't have to work at all. We just need to chat with our boss."
Janice's words were full of sarcasm. Of course Denise could hear it. If she continued to ask more questions, it would seem like she was being petty.
"Well, in that case, even if I misunderstood you, are you really not unhappy with me?"
