Upon hearing the voice, Janice raised her head and saw Benjamin. He stood there and seemed to have something to say.
Janice asked, "What's the matter, Director Taylor?"
Benjamin frowned and asked, "Can you come with me?"
"If you have something to say, just say it here."
She had promised Christopher that she wouldn't contact him in private. Benjamin said, "It won't take you too long."
Seeing Janice did not respond, he added, "I promise that it is the last time."
There was a hint of pleading in his tone.
Janice was hesitant.
Benjamin's heart sank as he saw her reaction, he then continued, "I will wait for you in concert hall."
After that, he turned around and left.
Janice wanted to stop him, but she couldn't make a sound. Staring at his back, she recalled the previous discussions of her colleagues.
Since he was about to leave, she would take it as a farewell.
Then she got up and went out.
Janice arrived at the concert hall, hearing a melodious sound coming from inside.
