Christopher did not answer her question. He only asked, "How did you get to know her?"
Janice answered honestly, "I met her when I brought Nino to the hospital. She's her veterinarian."
Christopher frowned. He actually forgot that Sophie studied veterinary medicine before.
He said, "Stay away from her."
Janice curiously asked, "Why?"
Christopher replied, "Just make sure that you do."
Janice looked at the side of his face and thought for a moment.
Then she seemed to understand. "I see. Did she steal a lot of paternal love from you when you were growing up, and that's why you don't like her, right?"
Christopher did not say a word.
Since he didn't reply, Janice just assumed that she was right.
