As she spoke, she took out a box from the gift box she placed on the table. The box looked exquisite which was sufficient to tell that it was of considerable value. As expected, a Swiss military knife shone brightly after the box had opened.
"Do you like it?"
Sophie took out the military knife and handed it over.
Old Mr. Allson glanced at her and said, "Thank you very much."
Although it was just a sentence, Sophie already felt happy about it. She happily placed back the military knife to the box and said, "As long as grandpa likes it."
As she spoke, she put the gift box on the table and it just happened to be placed together with the desserts. In an instant, there was a sharp contrast between the two things.
This scene had gotten Janice's attention.
She lowered her head involuntarily.
"Sister-in-law? You're here too,"
Sophie suddenly spoke up.
The 'sister-in-law' stunned everyone here, especially Janice.
