Chapter 140 - Second-Hand Men May Not Be Better

Malcolm and Gladys were looking around curiously, but at Janice's greeting, they stopped in their tracks.

Gladys thought of how they had been driven out by Janice. She immediately gave Malcolm a meaningful glance.

After all, they were husband and wife, so Malcolm instantly understood Gladys' hint.

"Janice, you are too much. How can you be so disrespectful? It's the birthday party of your grandfather-in-law. At least, you should tell us so that we can send him our best wishes."

"That's right. Janice, you should have told us earlier," Gladys chimed in.

They sounded like two ordinary parents scolding their child, which caught Janice a little off guard. Before she could reply, Old Master Allson spoke first. "It's not Janice's fault. It's all mine. I should have visited you earlier."

Hearing what Old Master Allson said, Malcolm panicked and said hurriedly, "Please don't say that. We are your juniors, we should visit you."

"Yes, yes." Gladys echoed.
