However, it seemed that no car was willing to stop.
Janice explained the situation to James, who was sitting in the back seat. Then, she parked the car on the side of the road.
She opened the door and got out of the car, only to find that it was the lady who had asked for directions at the airport.
"It's you."
Amelia was also stunned when she saw Janice coming out of the car. She then asked, "Can you give me a ride? The taxi broke down."
Janice glanced at the taxi that was parked on the side and said, "Alright, get in."
After saying that, she reached out to take the luggage from Amelia and put it in the trunk.
The two of them got in the car one after the other. Since James was in the back seat, Amelia sat in the passenger seat.
She fastened her seatbelt and said gratefully, "Thank you."
"You're welcome."
Janice drove the car away.
On the way, Amelia gazed at the scenery outside the window and couldn't help but sigh with emotion.
