It was a group photo.
It was a photo of him and Finn Moore in their academy uniforms, taken three years ago when they graduated from school. He didn't expect time to pass so fast. Three years had passed in a blink.
He sneered, put the photo back, and was about to turn around.
"Chris."
At some point, Janice had walked in.
Christopher was startled. He put the book back and said unhappily, "Why didn't you knock before you come in?" He was snapped back to reality from his book by Janice.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I came in without knocking because the door was not closed. Um... I'll knock on the door right away."
As she spoke, she turned around and walked towards the door. Christopher was speechless and reached out to grab her arm. "Speak, what is it?"
Janice said. "Oh, what I meant to say that there are no more cooking ingredients at home. I'll order takeaway. What do you want to eat?"
Christopher replied, "I don't like takeout."
