Knock, knock.
A sharp rap against the bedroom door jolted them both out of their dreamy haze.
Shin groaned, tightening his arms around Rika like a kid clutching a pillow. "What…"
From the other side, Ai's voice rang through, muffled but firm. "Get up, you two. You're not dead, are you?"
Rika flinched. "Ai?!"
Shin blinked, slowly raising his head from the pillow. His hair was a mess, his face kissed with drowsy mischief. "We are now…"
Rika scrambled for the sheet, barely managing to yank it over herself before Ai's voice came again—this time more amused.
"I'm not barging in, don't worry. Just wanted to let you know Rika, your phone was on the dinner table. It rang. Twice. Your parents. I answered."
Rika sat upright so fast, the sheet nearly slipped off. "You what?!"
Shin chuckled sleepily beside her. "So, uh… Ai, you want to have sex now, or…"
"Maybe later," Ai replied easily. "Not denying it. But I have a better reason to wake you. Rika's parents asked where she was. I told them you slept late and you're napping again after breakfast. They seemed to buy it."
Rika exhaled, hands against her forehead. "Oh my god…"
Shin smirked, eyes closed again. "She did sleep late. All of you did. Pretty sure I heard you all saying the same thing last night… something like 'harder, don't stop, I'm gonna—'"
Rika slapped his arm, her face going crimson.
Ai snorted on the other side of the door. "Anyway, you should know that while you two were knocked out and glued together like mating dogs, Haa-Onee-Chan and Yuki-San went home."
Shin blinked, eyes cracking open. "Huh?"
"They packed their things from their apartment and brought them here. You know, because you suggested they live here. Remember? Big romantic gesture, everyone under one roof?" Ai's voice turned sweet and dangerous. "Well, they're here now. So maybe try being a boyfriend who actually helps once in a while, and not someone who only thinks with his amazing dick."
Shin winced, snapping a hand to his forehead like a soldier. "Yes, ma'am!"
Rika muffled her laugh behind the sheet.
"You've got five minutes," Ai added. "Get dressed, take Rika home, and come back and help. I'm not doing it all myself. I'll make sure to wear something super tight so you stay distracted the whole time."
"Now that's just cruel," Shin muttered under his breath, sitting up slowly.
They heard Ai's retreating footsteps, her flip-flops smacking the hallway floor until they faded into the living room.
Rika sighed, leaning into him. "She's right."
"She's also evil," Shin mumbled, kissing Rika's forehead. "But kind of my type."
"You say that about all of us."
"Because all of you are my type."
Rika smiled softly, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. "Let's get moving."
They untangled from the sheets with sluggish reluctance, Shin slipping out of bed and stretching with a dramatic groan, his toned form bathed in afternoon light. Rika sat at the edge, brushing her messy hair aside while watching him move.
"Stop staring," he teased, catching her eyes. "Or I'll throw you down again."
"You wouldn't dare."
He bent forward and kissed her deeply. "Try me."
She giggled, pushing him back. "Pervert."
He turned to grab her folded school uniform from the chair. "I even folded this for you last night."
Her eyes widened. "You did?"
Shin puffed his chest with mock pride. "I'm not just a sex god. I'm also a laundry fairy."
Rika snorted, standing to take it from him. "Thanks. That's actually… sweet."
"You should wear it again," he whispered, leaning close as she placed it into her backpack. "Maybe next time we do it… you don't even take it off. Just lift the skirt, bend over—"
Her face lit up crimson. "Shin!"
He winked. "You nodded, by the way. Can't take it back."
Still red-faced, Rika grabbed her bag and followed him to the door.
They walked out together, barefoot and barely composed, only to stop at the entrance to the living room.
Aiko sat on the couch with Asahi cuddled in her arms, the small boy curled against her chest, his cheek practically buried in the swell of her breasts. She was wearing Ai's off-shoulder top and a pair of shorts that clung to her like a second skin—or at least tried to. The outfit looked like it had gone through war and came out clinging for dear life.
Her toned stomach peeked between the struggling fabric, and the shorts had hiked so far up her thighs it looked illegal. She looked impossibly hot—and somehow maternal.
Asahi, clearly pleased with the situation, giggled as Aiko ran fingers through his hair.
"You're warm, Amu-Chan…" he mumbled sleepily.
"You're so sweet, A-Chan…" she replied, her voice a soft coo. "Do you want another sandwich later?"
Asahi's tiny head nodded against her breasts. "Only if you feed me again…"
Aiko kissed his hair and murmured something about cutting the crusts.
Meanwhile, Ai sat on the other couch beside Yuki, who looked like he'd tried to help with the luggage but had given up halfway through. Four bags were strewn across the room—two small ones near Yuki and two massive ones near the hallway, one with a stuffed bunny hanging off the zipper.
Yuki was sipping juice with an annoyed blush. "Why do I have to move in with this idiot again?"
Ai patted his head. "Because you love the idiot. And because you don't eat or clean properly on your own."
"Tch."
Rika squeezed Shin's hand. "We should go before Asahi asks me to breastfeed him next."
Shin grinned. "He already calls you Nee-Chan. I don't think it's far off."
They stepped into the room fully, and Aiko looked up, finally noticing them.
"Oh, Rika!" she beamed. "Leaving already?"
Rika nodded. "Just for a bit. Need to go home and come back."
Aiko gave her a wink. "Hurry back, okay? We're doing dinner together."
Yuki didn't look up. "Great. More chaos."
Shin leaned toward him, ruffling his white hair. "Try not to miss me too hard, Kiddo."
"I won't, idiot," Yuki grumbled, cheeks pink.
Asahi lifted his head from Aiko's chest and gave a small wave. "Bye Onii-Cha! Bye Rika-Nee-Chan!"
"See you soon, Asahi-Kun," Rika called gently.
Ai crossed her arms. "Don't forget. You owe me."
Shin saluted. "Yes, Ma'am."
With that, the couple slipped out the door, Rika's backpack bouncing against her hip and Shin's hand resting casually on her lower back. The apartment door closed behind them with a soft click, leaving the chaos behind for just a little while longer.
And in the silence that followed, Ai looked at Yuki and Aiko, then at the mountain of bags.
"Well," she said dryly. "Let the next stage of hell begin."
