Chapter 227 - Chapter : 229 : Engagement!

Shin leaned back on the edge of the big bed, holding the small black velvet box in his hand. He looked at the four of them—Ai, Yuki, Aiko, and Rika—sitting in front of him, their eyes wide and glimmering in the soft light. "Alright," he said, grinning. "Time to keep my promise."

Ai's cheeks flushed pink as she bounced a little on the spot. "Onii-chan… are you serious?"

Shin smirked, opening the box. Four sparkling diamond rings gleamed inside. "I told you, didn't I? You all get one."

Ai leaned forward, eyes locked on the first ring. "Me first?"

"Yeah, you," Shin said. He took the ring out, holding it between his fingers. "Sit still."

Ai shivered a little, and Shin chuckled. He slid the ring onto her finger, watching her squeeze her eyes shut and bite her lip. "Perfect," he murmured, leaning down to press a slow, lingering kiss to her lips. Ai gasped softly, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Onii-chan…"

"Next," Shin said, moving his gaze to Yuki. The boy fidgeted nervously, but his golden eyes were bright. "Don't tell me you're scared of a little sparkle."

Yuki blinked, voice soft. "I… I guess not…"

Shin rolled his eyes, pulling the second ring out. "Come on, hand."

Yuki held out his hand, trembling slightly. Shin slipped the diamond ring onto his finger. "Nice," he said, brushing a thumb over the top of the gem. Then, leaning forward, he pressed his lips against Yuki's briefly, deliberately. Yuki froze, a soft moan escaping before he could stop it. "S-So…" Yuki muttered, blushing deep red.

Shin smirked and ruffled his hair. "Relax. It's just a kiss. Now you're engaged too."

"Haa-Chan. Your turn." Shin asked lovingly.

Aiko bounced a little next, eyes wide, smiling like she might cry. "Haa-Chan… really?"

"Really," Shin replied, pulling out the third ring. "Sit still, idiot."

She giggled, shoving his shoulder lightly, then held out her hand. Shin slipped the ring onto her finger, watching her eyes shine. He leaned down immediately, pressing a slow, soft kiss to her lips. She melted against him, arms wrapping around his neck as her small moans tickled his ear. "Taa-Kun… ahhh…"

Shin chuckled, pulling back slightly. "Okay, last one." His gaze landed on Rika. She sat up straighter, biting her lower lip, fingers fidgeting nervously.

"You ready, Rika?" Shin asked.

Rika nodded, almost too fast, and Shin rolled his eyes. "Good. Hand here." He took the final ring and slid it onto her finger, admiring the way it sparkled. "Perfect," he murmured, leaning down to kiss her gently. Rika gasped softly, tilting her head into the kiss, hands curling around his shoulders. "Onii-San…" she breathed.

Shin pulled back, smirking at the four of them. "There. All four of you. Engaged to me. Don't tell me I didn't keep my word."

Ai leaned forward and kissed him again, pressing her forehead against his. "Onii-chan… I love it… love you."

"Yeah, yeah," Shin said, chuckling. "Don't get sappy. You still have to deal with me every day."

Yuki's hand found his, squeezing it shyly. "I… I'm happy," he said softly. "Really happy."

Shin gave him a quick, teasing kiss on the lips. "Good. You better be. I picked you guys for a reason, you know."

Aiko pressed her cheek against his chest, arms wrapping around him. "Taa-Kun… you're the best," she said, voice muffled but full of affection.

"And don't forget it," Shin replied, rubbing her back before leaning to give her another short kiss.

Rika rested her head on his shoulder, looking up at him with wide, shiny eyes. "Onii-San… thank you… I… I love you," she whispered.

Shin grinned, brushing her hair back and pressing his lips to her temple. "I love you all. That's why you get rings. That's why I'm… well, you know. Yours."

They all giggled, some of them blushing, some leaning against him, holding onto his arms or chest. The room was warm, filled with quiet laughter, soft sighs, and the occasional whisper of "Onii-chan… Onii-San… Taa-Kun... Shin..."

Shin pulled back slightly, looking at all four of them at once. "Now, don't think this is just a thing we do once. You've got the rings. You've got me. So behave—or not. I don't care. Just… remember who owns you."

Ai giggled, tugging at his shirt. "You're terrible, Onii-chan…"

"And I know it," Shin replied, smirking. He leaned down again, giving Ai another kiss while Rika nuzzled against his shoulder and Yuki and Aiko looked on, smiling.

"You guys… all mine," he murmured, voice low and possessive. "Engaged. Don't forget it."

Yuki, Ai, Aiko, and Rika all smiled shyly, their fingers intertwined with his as the reality of the rings sank in. "Engaged to Onii-Chan," Ai whispered, almost dreamlike.

"And don't you forget it," Shin repeated, pressing soft kisses to each of them again, one by one. "Ai, Yuki, Haa-Chan, Rika. All of you. Mine."

The room grew quiet after that, only soft sighs and giggles filling the air. Shin pulled all four of them close, arms wrapped around their shoulders and waists, feeling the warmth of their bodies pressed to his.

"Alright," he said finally, voice teasing but satisfied. "Rings on. Kisses given. Engagement complete. Now, someone say something romantic so I can laugh."

Ai leaned up, eyes sparkling. "Onii-chan… I'll always love you."

Yuki muttered shyly, "I… I'll never leave you, Shin."

Aiko pressed her face to his chest. "Taa-Kun… you're mine."

Rika smiled, tilting her head against his shoulder. "Onii-San… we're yours."

Shin chuckled, brushing a hand over their hair. "Good. That's what I wanted to hear. Now, let's celebrate. You four are stuck with me forever."

And with that, he pulled them closer, one by one, letting them rest against him as they all laughed, whispered, and kissed softly—engaged, connected, and utterly his.
