The café door slammed open with a force that made every head inside whip around in shock.
BANG!
Conversations halted mid-sentence. Forks clattered onto plates.Every customer turned to stare at the entrance, where a wild storm in the shape of a man had just arrived.
Rayzen didn't care.He tore off his helmet and stormed forward, boots thudding heavily against the polished floor.
Across the room, Selia's giggles died in her throat. She blinked, confused for a second — then her face paled when she saw who was marching straight toward her.
Varek frowned, setting his cup down slowly. "What the hell—?"
Rayzen reached their table in three long strides, grabbed the edge, and flipped it over without warning.
CRASH!!Coffee spilled everywhere. Plates shattered.
Selia shrieked and stumbled backward, nearly tripping over her chair.Varek immediately stood up, fists clenching, but even he hesitated at the sight of the fury burning in Rayzen's eyes.
"You think this is a game?!" Rayzen roared, his voice booming through the café like a war cry.
Selia stammered, trying to regain her composure. "W-what are you talking about?!"
Rayzen didn't give her a second to breathe.
"You think spreading filth about Alea is funny?! You think dragging Levan's name through the mud makes you strong?!"
He pointed a finger so close to Selia's face that she flinched.
"You're pathetic."
The entire café sat frozen, no one daring to interrupt.
Varek stepped between them, trying to puff up his chest. "Back off, Rayzen. You're causing a scene."
Rayzen tilted his head slightly, cracking his neck.A slow, dangerous grin spread across his face — the kind that sent a clear message: You should have stayed quiet.
"I came here to cause a scene, dumbass."
Before Varek could react, Rayzen shoved him aside like he weighed nothing.
Selia stumbled again, her chair scraping loudly across the floor as she backed into a corner.
Rayzen loomed over her, his presence suffocating.
"You like running your mouth behind people's backs?" he snarled. "Say it to my face, Selia. Come on. Say it."
Selia shook her head frantically. "I-I didn't say anything! It's just... rumors—"
Rayzen slammed his fist into the wall next to her head. The impact left a deep dent in the plaster, dust sprinkling down like snow.
Selia let out a terrified squeak, sinking lower against the wall.
"Rumors kill people," Rayzen growled. "But don't worry — I'm not here to kill you."
He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a deadly whisper.
"I'm here to destroy your pride. Piece by piece."
Selia whimpered.
Varek finally found his voice again, shouting from a few feet away."You lay a hand on her, Rayzen, and you'll regret it!"
Rayzen shot him a glare that could have melted steel.
"You should be more worried about yourself, buddy."
The café manager, a frail man in a trembling apron, peeked from behind the counter."Sir, p-please... you're scaring the customers—"
Rayzen tossed a few crumpled bills onto the nearest table without even looking."Here. For your troubles."
Then he turned his full attention back to Selia, who was now trembling so hard she looked ready to collapse.
"This is your only warning," Rayzen said coldly. "You or your little puppetmaster dare touch Alea's name again—"
He reached down and grabbed a piece of Selia's branded jacket, yanking it up to her eye level.
"I'll tear everything you love apart."
Selia could only nod frantically, too terrified to even cry.
Satisfied, Rayzen released her with a disgusted shove that sent her sprawling onto the floor.
Without sparing them another glance, he turned and strode out of the café, helmet swinging loosely from one hand.
As he mounted his bike outside, the customers slowly unfroze, whispering urgently among themselves.
Inside, Selia sat on the floor, gasping and shaking, her perfect makeup running down her cheeks in messy streams.
Varek cursed under his breath, fists still clenched — but he didn't dare chase after Rayzen. Not today.
Because today...They had learned a brutal lesson.
Rayzen wasn't just another gangster.
He was a nightmare you never wanted knocking at your door.
