Yvonne froze.
She asked about the question she was going to ask but just murmured, "Zachary, what are you doing?"
"Haven't seen you in a week, let me hug you." The man's voice was a little more husky than usual, nothing else.
Yvonne turned speechless.
She felt kind of weird but she didn't know what was that. So she just stayed in his arms.
"Are you... tired? Let me walk you upstairs to have a rest, OK?"
Zachary shook his head.
It didn't matter if he was tired or weak.
God knew how desperate he was when Marcus Lance said that something bad would happen to her in the next few days.
Only when she stand in front of him, safe and sound, could settle him down.
He wanted nothing but to hold her tightly.
Eventually, Yvonne forced Zachary to go upstairs and rest.
In fact, he needed a break.
He'd be weak all this time.
