The last place where Yvonne went to work part-time was a luxury store.
Oddly enough, some of the other shops she applied to turned her down, probably because they thought she had a great diploma and all around qualifications and were afraid they couldn't afford to hire her.
It ended up being a luxury store that saw her good looks and temperament and stayed to make her a counter girl.
It was a good thing that Yvonne knew these products pretty well.
She might not really know how to wash a plate or make a milk tea, but she knew best what luxury looked like.
Yvonne started to work at Mervo.
Five hours a day for 30 dollars. The main work was organizing bags and occasionally standing at the counter.
The next day, Yvonne was exhausted after 5 hours of standing in high heels.
She had to sign how hard it really was for these service industry people, their feet were sore just standing down, but luckily, she made 30 dollars on her first day.
