Bruce looked at the figure not far away. She stood elegantly under the street lamp.
Her long hair was blown by the wind.
Under her feet, Rudi was beaten beyond recognition, and he was lying motionlessly beside the car.
James stepped forward to pull him up. He looked at Rudi and took a deep breath. Then he whispered, "Yes. This's Mr. Rudi."
Rudi let out a soft cry of struggle, then his eyes rolled back and he completely fainted.
James's back tightened. He felt that today's wind was exceptionally cold. He was so scared that he wanted to hide in the car.
"What kind of grudge Mrs. Bruce was holding against Rudi? Why did she beat Rudi so badly?" James thought.
"Mr. Bruce, Mr. Rudi is..."
Before James could finish his words, he saw Bruce went towards Hilla.
Under the street lamp, Hilla seemed particularly thin and lonely. The black night shrouded her and the entire house in front of her.
Rudi took off his coat and put it on Hilla.
"It's cold outside. Let's go home."
